Taking a break from my Ferrari 308 build is not by choice. Sometimes there are just other priorities, like building an elevator to help get tires up and down in the shop. #langmuir systems #fusion360
Lou, that was pretty cool making that. Your very talented. Nice to see other projects on your channel besides the ferrari. Don't get me wrong, I do love that car. Looking forward to the next one.
I have a very similar shop with the same plasma table still haven't tried using the table or the new hypertherm xp45 someday I will figure it out! Great video thanks for sharing
I'm thinking a limit switch at the top and bottom would finish this thing off nicely so it always stops at the same spots. Just wire them in series with your up and down buttons up at the winch.
So your not just a pretty face but an elevator mechanic also. Kudos to you. You like to keep your content mixed up and that is another reason to have subscribed
Very nice design u made , but what about safety part if the winch cable breaks how are you going to save the free fall. Please share video for that too. What capacity winch have you used. I think if you two winches one up and one down both working in opposite directions then may be if one string breaks the other one would definitely save you.
@@LouTrottier I thank you very much Lou Trottier. If one that can take three people at a time can that be classified as a commercial one ? Sorry am asking a lot
@@LouTrottier I am thinking about making a garage. Attic lift using unistrut rails on the wall. I will have to build a wood base. Or bolt the tubing since I am not a welder.
excellent JOB! Doing a home version out of wood and unistrut soon like others have here on youtube. BTW, isnt that red bumper by your hook suppose to stop the hoist? Position it to max height, then install bumper so its against the hoop on the hoist (hoop=stop switch). Am I wrong here?
