Awesome job .We pushed back our sailing trip from Sooke Marine to Maple Bay till the last week in March now .Those here on the island know its been a little stormy and chilly latly .We do have heat on the Balderdash but yea,,,its more fun in nice weather .Packing 4 cameras with me when we do go and it will be the time of our lives . Lots of editing later . See you out there some day .
@@WaywardLifeSailing oh welcome.. we actually call them couplings “ Jacobs disks” and i never knew where that came from or even if it was correct, but the parts interpreters always understood what we were talking about.. i actually think Logan got it as perfect as possible, & if it were me, and the back of the gearbox settles down ways, i would be tempted to lower the very front engine mounts which in turn should raise the rear slightly, (that’s if it needs any adjustment at all..
Hey Logan and Taryn. Nice to see things being put back together. I'm doing the same, and plan to be out on the water by June. I look forward to seeing you guys out there.
It's great to be putting things back together again. Very much the light at the end of the tunnel getting bigger and brighter. Replumbing the engine is rewarding (did that on mine) - putting things where you want them after having already used the boat before and seen what you don't like. Any approx timing to go back in?
Oh hey, use an orbital sander with 120 grit to level the spay foam. It saves so much time. Don't do it without googles and a respirator. Cover anything you don't want dust on with plastic.
