Hello, Everyone!! Here's another video of Epoxy Resin craft project. Simple, fun and easy to do resin craft idea for beginners.
I am making customized or personalized letter keychains with names for the first time. I used transparency film for Inkjet printers for printing names and cut them manually to place in the resin. They turned out nice and pretty.
Please follow necessary SAFETY MEASURES while working with resin. Work in WELL-VENTILATED or OPEN areas.

Thank you!! 😊 It is not necessary to add another layer but adding a final layer for doming the pieces gives better finishing.

I have been making keychains and earrings from molds with premade holes. I’ve been running into the issue of not being able to thread the jump ring into the premade hole. The hole is not blocked with resin but for some reason it is nearly impossible. Am I making my pieces too thick or am I possibly messing up the jump ring when opening? Any tips or tricks? Have you ran into this problem as a beginner?

The keychains are probably too thick for the jump rings. Most of my molds do not have premade holes, so I simply drill a hole to add a screw eye pin. I do have one couple heart mold with premade holes and they are too thick that they requires bigger jump rings. Also the premade holes are straight and the jump rings are usually round, so they are difficult to insert through the hole. I suggest using triangle jump rings in this case or simply alter the jump ring shape into a triangle. Good luck!!

I bought the transparency film and printed it at home through Ink Jet printer. As long as you have the transparency film, you can print it at home or any store that has printing service. Just make sure that the transparency film that you are using is compatible with the type of printer you are using.

I used Brush Script MT Font, Size 16 pt here. They are a bit smaller. You can increase the size little bit upto 20 pt in the same Font.

Hi, I printed the names on transparency film through an inkjet printer, cut the name and put it in the resin. It is not vinyl sticker. It is just like a plastic that can be printed on.

Ciao! Il rapporto differisce con le diverse marche. Quello che uso è 2 parti di resina e 1 parte di hardener. Qui, probabilmente ho usato 14 g di resina e 7 g di hardener.

I have an issue with the transparent label letter. When I place the clear resin, after drying the black ink disappears to gray. Can you give me a tip so that this doesn't happen??

I am not quite sure. From your comment, it seems that the dark color has dispersed in the resin turning it into gray. Maybe the label letter is not waterproof or the ink is the problem. In this case, you have to seal the sticker before adding into the resin.
