I got exact same Gladiator.. color and all... Yours sounds extremely close to my Borla Xtreme... and prolly cost 1/2 what I paid... Good Job! My favorite part is gunning it from a dead stop at the intersections where the panhandlers work... Keeps them on their toes!
Good to know if the highway drone isn't too bad even without a resonator. I think I'm going to do something similar but keep the front res and just straight pipe it back from there. Cool tone for a garden variety pentastar v6. And for me with a stick, will make it easier to hear revs for shifting ha
It's not bad to me. But it's definitely a personal preference. I like a low rumble to be heard. And if I don't want to hear it I will turn up the radio.
I doubt it. The exhaust would have to heat up a lot of steel on the rear of the diff to even heat the oil. Plus while you’re driving air is cooling the diff. And in this setup the exhaust tip is closer towards the driver tire and about 18” forward of the axle. I bet it doesn’t affect temps at all
I thought I saw the catalytic converter during the exhaust removal. I didn’t see it during the install. Are they not required in AZ or was I wrong and it wasn’t the catalytic converter?
