I'm not a very tidy cutter usually, haha! A really sharp blade does the trick because there's a groove between sole and shoe. Exacto or rotary cutter probably.
It can be tricky depending on the shape of the shoe that's for sure. I would recommend a very very stretchy fabric so you can mold the fabric to the shoe.
hi! It was a polyester stretch fabric. Unfortunately it was the last of the stock at the store and they don't have any names. It feels a bit like swimsuit material.
