Hi, Teacher Taylor, thank you for the great demo. (You must be a real teacher as to how good it was) I loved and printed your shopping list and subscribed to your channel. I am looking forward to whatever you come up with!
Thank you, Susan! So great to hear! Let me know if you have any specific video ideas that you would like to see and I’ll see what I can do. Haha I definitely have a teacher brain and try to keep my videos as organized and easy to follow as possible!! Thanks again for the super sweet comment. I hope you have a great weekend. ☺️🎉
Thank you for a great video. I appreciate how you sped up the steps, I get so frustrated with videos that show the whole process of painting a cup or mixing and spreading on epoxy! Thanks again, I'm subscribed and liked your video! Ice toppers for tumblers would be a great video/tutorial! xoxo
Nice 😊 Just watched Designed to the Nines she, and a bunch of helpers, decorated 2 trees at a Ronald McDonald House in FL. Some of the followers used this ice cream technique to make their ornaments ; they contributed their talents to the cause. You ought to check out the video. It brought tears to my eyes 😢. Tears of joy. They did 2 complete trees 🌲 Thank you for this informative video.
Thx beautiful just what I was looking for. But Im a bling queen and so is my friend. I made her a bling cake ND thought she needed sum ice cream to go with it. You video is just wut I needed. I can improvise on the bling but the idea is wut I needed. Amazing
Beautiful job! How long do they last? Can you leave they out for a couple of days or a week or do they need to be done the day before an event? Thanks!
Beautiful!! This is the best tutorial I've ever seen 😍 You covered it all especially with the adding paint to the spackle and not washing over the sink. I've heard so many people say that their "ice cream" or "whipped cream" was too thin! You have to watch that paint ☺ A tip from a tuber that makes the most amazing faux food you have every seen is a little neon of the color and a couple of drops of, believe it or not, bright yellow! She's been in magazines and has a business with her stuff. Out of respect for you I will let you know if you want. Just for reference. You don't need help, that's for sure. I apologize if I came across as rude. And you sound so young. Well you got me as a new subscriber and bell ringer so I can get all notifications! How exciting 😀 I'll do my part to tell friends about you so rock on! ❤
Wow! Thank you so much for such a sweet comment and subscribe with bell! You made my day. ☺️💕 Sure, I would love to know this RU-vidr. It’s always nice to support other RU-vid Channels. That’s how you grow and learn more! I’m a 24 year old from Cleveland, Ohio. Where are you from?
@@teachertaylor412 the lovely lady has a channel called The Pink Tree. She even makes her own "sprinkles". I think you love her. I'm a mom to a 19 year old boy and he, his dad, I are from the mountains of North Carolina. The Blue Ridge that is. We rescue our furbabies and are down to 1 cat and 1 weenie dog. We love having kids around so we "adopt" college kids new in the area, first time away from home, so they will have "parents" up here. Some of our kids are older than college like the Campus minister at our church. We live in a college town. They eat with us and join family activities, call us if they need help. If they need their parents we are there until they get there. If you came to our house you would be adopted too and join the crafting crew! I'm mainly a cross stitcher but I'm trying to teach myself quilting, sewing, and some other things. Lord knows no one would be bored in my craft room 🤣🤣 my son is planning to go to NWOH for auto/engine mechanics in Lima.
Thank you! I will definitely check out her page. Wow, what you and your family are doing is so inspiring... Thank you for all you do!!! How sweet and I’m sure I would LOVE your craft room. 😍💕 I just posted another tutorial today on “How To Knit For Beginners!” You didn’t mention knitting but it’s pretty easy to learn.
In your video you mentioned letting paint dry for 15 minutes between coats. My application isn’t drying in 15 minutes. Are you doing anything to glass before painting?
Hi! If your paint isn’t drying quick enough between coats… you could always try using a hairdryer or fan to get it to dry a little quicker! I hopes this helps. 😊
This is amazing! I need to make a larger sized scoop (maybe 5” in diameter) any ideas on what to use instead of an ice cream scoop? I love the texture you got...I’m wondering if it had to do with the scoop or the spackle mixture you did?
Hi and thank you!! I would say both had a lending hand in getting the perfect texture. Maybe you could see if they make a larger scoop… I know for baking cookies they have different scoop sizes. Smaller or larger cookies. I hope this helps!!
Hello!! So glad to hear and I’m loving the idea of making them for a gender reveal. Yes, they will last as mine are still looking great since I made this video. Once they dry completely (takes like 24 hours) then they will stay the same as long as you take good care of them. I wish I could see your creations when you are finished with them!!! Do you plan to use pink and blue paint for ice cream colors?!
This is one of the better tutorials I've seen I'm making faux ice cream sundaes, even though you sped it up to conserve time you are very informative. This is exactly the way I make mine. It is just so much fun and realistic looking some people I've seen seems to be quite sloppy, how you do it is the right way. I enjoyed your tutorial very much hope you make more
I love this! I know the speed of this video is too fast for some, but, for me, it's perfect and you gave very clear and concise instructions. Great job and thanks!
Thank you so much! Very sweet of you to say. 💕 I would love to see your finished ice cream sundaes!!! Please feel free to reach out with any questions. I would be happy to help! 😊
Thank you! The cherries I found on Amazon. Here is the link below. FloraCraft 25 Piece Decorative Fruit Cherry www.amazon.com/dp/B008B9YU26/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_DP35EY1KCNG0DFCRAD96?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Hi there! The spackling becomes very hard within 12-24 hours. Looks real and feels hard to the touch!! I would guess they would last at least a few years and maybe longer. Depends if you store them or keep them out all of the time. I hope this helps. ☺️
Hi there! The ice cream takes about 24 hours to dry. I would suggest letting them sit out a few days to dry before packing away to store. I hope that helps!! :)
Hi there! I painted the inside of the cup because I didn’t want to be able to see the foam ball that I used as filler. The filler helps to not use so much “ice cream” to fill the cup. I hope this helps! 😊💕
Hello! It sounds like you may have put too much paint in the spackle. Do not worry at all as this is an easy fix! To solve this just put a little more spackling into your mixture to make it thicker. You could also try to add a little flour to your mixture to thicken it up. I hope this helps!! 😊
