DIY FANTASTIC DESIGN POUCH BAG // Zipper Belt Free Hands Bag Idea In 20 Min 

Warning sewist: The video does not make the bag featured on the thumbnail and shown at the beginning. It makes an odd cylindrical shape, not the professional style with metal lobster clasps. It can’t even be modified to match. It’s an entirely different pattern.

I really needed a fanny bag type thing & looked for an easy & quick diy; this was the best out of the seven candidates I selected. The only sewing machine I have are my hands & this pattern was user friendly. The pattern is always the most important part of a DIY of this type; in my opinion anyway. There are many ways these can be tweeked or improved to ensure durability outcome. I used "ancient" fabric upholstery scraps (which easily frayed when handled) & a recycled zipper from an old duffle bag on wheels, as well as the nylon straps (both of which were way to heavy for this little pouch). But hey, it's a great pattern & sews together nicely by hand.👍mine is clumsy but, man, it looks great & it's perfect for my needs. Everyone who's whining about glue guns etc, well just stop it. Go hand sew something complicated to take your frustrations out on.😁🎶🔬🎨🎹🔭🙏🕉

Good idea but I would sew the lining in and use adjustable straps for the waste. Don't like glue sorry.
