This week I transform this dollhouse sized, white fabric sofa set into an AWEOME LEATHER set, perfect for my country living room! I have been watching a lot of YELLOWSTONE lately and also OUTER RANGE and I have been inspired to create a delightful country living room, fit for a cowboy or girl after a long day of ropin' and ridin'. yaaaayyy! Glad you like the sofa set. I haven't watched 1883 yet but I am looking forward to getting into it soon! It's for sure on my list.

@@WhitneyLaBrie we love YELLOWSTONE but I think I actually liked 1883 more. I was hoping for more of 1883 but I think there will only be a few episodes leading into 1932 which picks up where 1883 leaves off. We also watch The Handmaids Tale and are waiting on Season 5

I ordered the same sofa set for my dollhouse's redo but I thought it was a little too small for my living room so this leather idea is great and I'll be able to put it in an attic setting. So thank you so much for sharing this and making it so simple for us miniaturists to do!! Looks great ❤️❤️❤️

absolutely my pleasure! This was a first attempt at painting the sofas in this way but I loved the end result and when the room was completed I entered it into the county fair and won a blue ribbon! so fun!

I wonder if chalk paint and wax would make the job easier or just the wax over any paint job to make it more leather like look and feel. Great job like always.🥰❤️

Thank you Megan. Yes you are right! Using chalk paint and wax is a great process. However, when I was pricing out the products to buy I may as well just buy a miniature leather sofa. So, I chose this other method with the glaze medium and acrylic paint and it turned out fine, it has a leather shine and the feel is decent, not too rough!
