Hey there 👋🏾! I considered the lattice wall along the perimeter of the fence 🤔 but we’ll see where this project goes, because knowing me, I’ll change up the layout a few times before the project is finished 😂.

Here you go inspiring us again!! I think it would be nice to add another section so you have three lattice sections to block the neighbors and maybe bring the lattice down almost towards the bottom of the fence. This way these tall sections would become a backdrop and focal point for the seating area. With some up lights shining on the wall would give it that beautiful night garden oasis feel that you do so well!!

Hey there it turned out beautifully. I think you should take it all the way across that side of the fence and stain the lattice, and the boards the same color as the main fence. Some bougainvillea flowers would be beautiful on the lattices for even more privacy.

@@diysbycarolina8622 you know what, I was driving one day and I saw lattices on top of a fence. What if you took the posts and put them diagonally instead of horizontal and place the lattices on the top of the posts? You would save money and be able to ext the lattices. Just an idea.

Looks good but I would buy one more lattice cut in half and add to the bottom to cover the small area of board. Plus you can add decor on the lattice ❤

I feel you all this rain in Columbia. On the flip side I planted (1) tree and (2) shrubs so I’ve been enjoying all the free water😅. Fabulous job on the privacy fence!!!

Hi Carolina, you should of probably applied the clear coat over the privacy fence before you put the lattice up. Also, I thought you were going to extend the lattice to cover the boards you cut off at the bottom well go the the bottom where the boards are cut off at because they still kind of "hanging out" at bottom of the lattice. Excited for what's next in this project though.

Hey Nicole👋🏾! I thought about that after adding the lattice🤦🏾‍♀️. The good news is the lattice that’s attached to the actual fence can easily be removed to stain the fence, but it’s been raining soo much lately that I haven’t had the chance. You’re right about adding more lattice to hide the little bit of boards that’s showing 😂😂. I was hoping to get away with letting the boards show 😂, but I plan to add another layer of lattice. Sis! Brilliant AND cost friendly?! This is perfect for my new home with low side fences. I'm going to add some fake vine threw the top and plants at the bottom and pray they eventually work it out amongst themselves. Hey what if your house has a house behind it that it higher? There's a 5ft brick foundation wall and a fence on top of that so when I walk out I can see the 2nd floor windows of the house behind my yard. I'm thinking tall planters with bamboo trees elevated about 4 feet to create a wall across the back. 🤔

Thank you so much 🥰! Ooooh they can see Al in your yard😬! I would definitely recommend planting trees. The bamboo trees definitely grow extremely fast but can be invasive so If you plant them I would recommend in large pots.

I love your new project, this is just my opinion, I wish you could have added 3 rowsinstead of 2.Meaning 1 more row because you can still see the neighbors deck if you move from that area.Im with you on privacy from neighbors 😂😂😂😂

I understand the need for privacy, the neighbors can look right down into your yard from their deck but ... did you check the city code for fences? I know in our city you need to get a permit to change the appearance of a fence or add additions. Also there is a height restriction in some cases. Also if you are in an HOA you also need to get their approval before you start anything. Hopefully you are not in an HOA and your city is not as strict as ours for fences, sheds etc.. THis privacy addition would look good as a living wall.

You ever think it's because she was in a hardware store where it is EXTREMELY dusty!!!!! Anytime I go into Lowes I dang near go into anaphylaxis shock because the sawdust and dust is overwhelming!!! So how about you use your analytical skills and think about the situation before you judge her and make assumptions!!! But if she lost a viewer she will gain more, you look better gone anyway!!!
