What was your experience with Exclusive Pools? We are considering a pool from them.

I can only speak to the fiberglass shell itself. I bought the shell only, without any equipment or installation services. Exclusive Pools is on the cheaper end of pools and that is what you can clearly see with the shell. The problem (in my opinion) is the flimsy shell. The walls and also the bottom are very thin (maybe 1/8"). I think it's like that because the pools are fabricated in Brazil and meant for the Brazilian market. They still back-fill pools with sand. Back-filling this pool the right way with gravel (crushed stone 57) will pierce the walls and floor. In order to prevent this I put foam boards under the pool and spray foamed the side walls. If you don't know this and back-fill the pool without the "insulation" you will destroy the shell once you fill it with water. The overall problem is that there aren't too many pool manufacturers willing to sell their pools to DIYers. Initially I wanted to buy from Thursday Pools but after they provided me a quote and I was ready to order they changed their mind and stated they would only sell to resellers/installers. But buying from a pool dealer was not an option for me as I wanted to do it myself. Price for the shell was absolutely OK and communication during the order process worked very well. Delivery and coordination was excellent. Took about 12 weeks from ordering to delivery. Long story short, for a DIY project I would recommend their pools. Buying as turnkey from start to finish I'm not so sure. I would suggest you read their google reviews first before you make a decision. Hope that helps.

@@ProjectDIY82 Thanks for this info. It was very helpful and I appreciate your time. I am running into the same issue with vendors. I live in Texas and it is going to cost $4000 to ship the shell to me from Exclusive/Kisol! The problem is that none of the DIY vendors in Texas carry the pools that Exclusive/Kisol does. I have had the same initial experience with Kisol. They are very friendly and seem to really want to help and make this work. Shell price is definitely attractive. I read their Google reviews and they all seemed very positive. Let me know if you saw otherwise! Did you put the foam under the pool after this video? I think I see it in the Part 8 video. There is some pink under the tanning ledge corner and some remnants on the concrete deck. What spray foam did you use? The canned stuff from HD or did you get a spray rig? How about the feel under foot? Were you able to get the #57 compacted and level/flat enough to prevent spongy spots due to the thin shell? I'm guessing your pool is ~5000-6000 gallons. What size pump/heater did you go with?

@@scottmcwilliams2204 I have the Spiagga 800. It's roughly 8500 gallons. The pool equipment is mainly PENTAIR. Pump is the IntelliFlo i2, Automation Center is IntelliConnect, Filter is CC100, Saltcell is IC40, lights are Glowbrite. My heater is way oversized but I like to heat the water from 70 to 80 degrees in 3 hours :-) I got a Raypak 119K (was on sale and cheaper than a smaller unit). Yes, I put the foam boards in after the video was completed. Just didn't want to do a second video on this. For the sides I got a Froth Pak 650 Spray Foam from awarehousefull dot com. Cost was around $1k but was super easy to use and worked out perfectly fine. HD did not have that size of spray foam pack. And going with spray cans is not really an option. The feel under foot is OK. The gravel was compacted before I put the foam boards and shell on it. There are some softer spots but no problem. Levelness was also not an issue.
