Hi all my name is Samuel I live in Canada and I'm a fully DIY filmmaker with like a $0 budget but does that stop me.... Nope! I make how to videos and tutorials on filmmaking and other such things!
I started a RU-vid channel Aug 9, 2013 called TheDandylien. it has since changed to Thehomefilmmaker. I started the RU-vid channel to force myself to continue making films and to get better at talking to people! at the end of may 2014 I joined a network called freedom and my channel has never been the same. At the time of joining freedom I had I think 15 subs or so and since then I have jumped up to over 70 subs and I could not be more happy. I have gone threw some hard times of wondering why I still push on but I will not give up EVER. My RU-vid channel now has over 15,000 views and 70 subscribers and is rising daily! Thanks everyone for your support and thanks freedom for helping me make better videos!

I started making these, great idea, but not sure it’s worth all the time involved to ultimately save maybe $10? Definitely the most fashionable sandbags out there tho (In fairness, I added handles, which took the most time)

With how cheap you can stuff of wish and temu now yes but for some with no budget, you might just have most of this stuff laying around.

Well if they are more outdoor use, I’d maybe use canvas and then sew a loop in the middle so I could tie a rope to them or something like that.

ok so the purpose of a sandbag is that the SAND soaks up the water and you put the sand in plastic bags, how can the sand soak up the water if it is in a plastic bag?

well if they were for water then that would be a problem but these are sand bags for filmmaking. they hold equipment down.

@@TheHomeFilmmakergpage If you are using these for the rifle range, also try using plastic beads or Airsoft BBs. You could also use an old raincoat sleeve. Then its waterproof, light weight and cheap.
