Made my own with a diff recipe and it is the bomb, used a simple sugar syrup though and I used whole dried peppers...accidentally left those in too long, man it'll make your head sweat with a shot...going to try it again and next time not leave those in any where near what I did last time lol.
+Joseph Benavidez I really like Evan Williams actually. But you're not going to find anything AMAZING at this price point. I am more of a scotch guy anyways.

Not IMO, cinnamon isn't soluble in alcohol (or water). So you'd just have to filter out the tiny cinnamon particles anyway (or drink them I guess). But if you put a equal amount of ground cinnamon to the 5 sticks he used and did not filter it out you'd probably have something that wasn't drinkable and would be inventing a new kind of cinnamon challenge:)
My guess is that fireball is actually made by adding a simple syrup to the whisky. And that's why it is taken down to 66 proof as opposed to the whisky base of 80 proof. So you could make a cinnamon infused simple syrup, add that to a Canadian Whisky and you'd have something closer to the real thing. Though IMO this vid gives a much better recipe bc I think Evan Williams is probably better than whatever cheap(?) base Canadian whisky FB uses.
