In the previous tutorial, we learned step-by-step how to build a variable power supply using an AC transformer and a few simple, inexpensive components. Now, in this video, we'll use the same method to create a practical power supply with minimal cost and maximum efficiency.

Bridge Rectifier (or 4 rectifier diodes)
16V 2200µF Electrolytic Capacitor
LM317 Voltage Regulator
Heat Sink for cooling the voltage regulator
Perforated copper board
10-turn 10kΩ Potentiometer (1 piece)
10kΩ Potentiometer for breadboard (from buck converter boards)
6-position Selector Switch
2 Suitable Knobs
2 Banana Jack Sockets (female)
2 Banana Plug Connectors (male)
2 Alligator Clips
1 On/Off Button
Digital Voltage Display
