I have watched so many tutorials on fleece socks, but none made sense to me until I saw yours today. Thank you greatly! I was so intimidated by making my own pattern. I noticed that if I made the toe pattern piece the same length as the sole pattern piece then then ankle came together just right. Also I'm going to try to add the same extra length to both the heel and toe pieces, I could make longer socks. I and my kids have some sensory issues, so have a seam along the ankle might be uncomfortable.

Total sewing noob here. I think this is gonna be my first project. Thank u!

Thanks for the tutorial! Mom’s a senior and I’d love to make a bunch of these for her. I’d add gripper material at the soles to help prevent slippage.
