oh my god. i've been wanting to buy these floor pillows from urban outfitters and they still are up to this day, ridiculously expensive. who would've thought it was that easy to make!? UMMMMMM THANKS A MILLION!
Have you guys thought of doing a video on how to use a sewing machine for beginners? I've used one a few times in my life, but frankly, I'm scared of messing everything up, so I'd love a video with tips for using a sewing machine!
I have been looking into buying a couple $100 floor pillows EXACTLY like this one. So thank you for this tutorial! Found my Thanksgiving weekend project :)
I've been sewing for years, have a business where I sell handmade sewn products, and I was still too intimidated to make a floor pillow until this video. THANK YOU from a fellow Canadian 🇨🇦
I also think filming on set feels less personal, but the DIY was awesome. Most DIY's just look good, this one actually makes me wanna do it. Maybe the pink one as a bed for my cat. 🤔
Alya Khairani Rhadiyya I have seen it 😊 the mirror I have is huge though is 6' x 4' I plan to hang it above my couch once finished. With like a wide wooden frame or frame it some other way. Thank you though.
You're so talented at diys, you've literally just saved my life with this video because I'm making a floor cushion for my GCSE textiles and I was really looking for pattern ideas and dimensions. God bless you ❤️❤️❤️
Watching this 4 years later, because TSG will always be where I go when I need help building something. Off to make outdoor cushions for my pallet couch!
SisterCookie if they were to do this DIY I'm sure they would let us know how we can change it to suit not only out significant others, but our friends or family as well. also, if you were actually a fan of TheSorryGirls this type of video wouldn't be considered a "useless video" to you anyways.
I love how original your DIYs are! I absolutely loved the end look of the floor pillow with the detailing around the edge. I'm so excited to see what you come up with for the holiday period
I've been sewing for years but I always come across new sewing project ideas, I definitely need to try these! Thanks for the easy to follow visuals too!
Thanks for making this video I've been wanting to see how to make floor pillows because they are so fun and I'm a gypsy style girl so these will be perfect for my life. And they can be so pricey so being able to make them custom and save money is bonus points for life.
This was so great! Such an original diy :) recently i commented that I thought you guys were rushing it all a bit and speaking fast, this time I could follow all the steps and I'm so happy about the more peaceful atmosphere you conveyed :) thanks!
Oh, oh oh!! I've been wanting to make a version of this for a foot pillow under my desk!!! So glad you guys did this. I'm going to make my own size for a foot stool pouf!! Thanks xoxoxox
i just saw something similar to the floor pillows on urban outfitters for $250 or something and i fell in love!! knew i could try my hand at making them so let's give this a shot!!!!
Thank God you guys.. I honestly wanted to make that tufted pillow thing from urban outfitters so bad, and I was thinking I could try and do it myself, I'm really glad to find out you guys did, saves me a lot of time!
I LOVE THESE.. Here in the UK we have what we call Duvets which are bed sized stuffed blankets. I've decided as it would be more cost effective to use a king or double bed sized one as my source of stuffing as 1 king size duvet costs around £17 and would firmly stuff atleast 2 36"- 40" floor pillows or about 3 poufes. For the fabrics I reperposed old jeans .
I've seen a pouf tutorial floating around the blogosphere before and I've been wanting to make it for a long time. Love your floor pillow as well - that fabric you chose is spot on. Awesome! 👏🏻
I'm so excited! I wanted an excuse to make these the minute I saw this video the first time but I definitely don't have the space in my home right now. But now my sister is moving to a new apartment and she asked if I could make her a floor pillow for her new living room. I can't wait to do this now!!
Omg. Thanks a million. About to buy a new house and was looking online for an alternate to a vanity chair. I saw a pouf and I was about to spend more than a one hundred on it. AND I SEW!!! just saved me girls!!! Kisses
You are so awesome for this! I've been toying with the idea of purchasing four of these types of floor pillows from UO for when fam comes to visit but the reviews were horrible. Now, I'm dead set on making them myself. Thank you soooo much! 😚
Okay, I know you guys say that you're not professionals but this is better than a lot of professionals can make. You guys are so talented, and dont let anyone tell you otherwise(anyone who does is probably insecure bc they can't do/won't try the awesome things you can do!) you girls inspire me very much, and so many others. I only just recently subscribed and I've already made things you've DIY'ed. Party on girls, keep it up!
I love your outfit, Becky! This video was so convenient cause I recently bought a floor pouf from Target and it's totally flat now. I'm trying to restuff it, but these might be a better alternative. Super cute! Your DIY home decor vids are awesome. Thanks girls! :)
Aha! I have just discovered "Reema Floor Pillows" so the fact that I can DIY them now is AMAZING! I'll just have to figure out how to do the back triangle piece.
