@Julie Khuu .... yes, it does help. I have always added 7 up or ginger ale ( just a splash ) to my flowers, and I change the water every 2 days, and trim off the stems a fraction. My daughter sent me flowers for my Birthday ( in October of last year) and they lasted THREE WEEKS. 🙂😊💐 Those flowers look sooooo beautiful! Wow, you are talented and teach us so much , thank you! 😊💐💜
Loved your tutorial! I had a small bouquet of flowers from the grocery store. At first , I just put them in a vase with water; but they looked awful. I went to RU-vid to get some tips and your video was the first one that popped up. So, glad it did. I used your tips and my bouquet turned out beautiful! Thank you for sharing!
You know what?? I love the "markdown" flowers at my local Kroger's! I always find good deals on nice arrangements for 1.99-5.49! You just have to know when to go and get the good ones before they wilt!!
What a great idea!! I wish I thought of this for Mother's Day, I would have had SO MUCH FUN making bouquets for my mom and aunt! Can't wait for another occasion for me to try this, they both came out SO beautiful!
Add flower with water. Mix the water with a stirrer. And then design :) also on the 2nd arrangement, if you get a vase with a smaller mouth the flowers won't move around much. Beautiful arrangements :)
Gorgeous flower bouquets the colours were vibrant and feminine hygiene is very important in flowers glad you mentioned the sheets of paper underneath simple easy good tutorial
These are both gorgeous ! I've always loved flower arranging and your video is so incredibly helpful! I can't wait to make a bouquet for my daughters birthday tomorrow in a beautiful greenish tainted recycled glass vases I bought today !
Great videos you are very knowledgeable and well versed in your craft! New subbie here keep the videos coming I love all things design! So I hit the jackpot finding your channel 😁😍👍
You have the same taste in colors and style as me. I watched some professional videos and they put red, burgundy, dull red purple and another dull purple together. It was ugly. I love the green and white you chose and then a vivid purple for contrast! That's what I like to do too. You have a good eye and the forms you did are my kind of thing
@@JulieKhuu I recently got a job in the floral department at Jewel. I am getting ideas for doing arrangements properly. I didn’t know there were rules LOL

Love it! I'm going to try this, but I'll be staying at a hotel. Tips on finding nice bases and buying supplies like clippers, paper, etc? (I see a Michaels and Dollar Tree in the city I'm visiting for the wedding.)
That vampy nail polish is everything!! 💅🏼 my only concern is not having water in your vase- dried out flowers faster. Love the balance in your arrangements!
Who would say you bought those flowers at low cost? For me, after the arrangement it would triple the price. Great idea! Thanks for sharing 💐😊 Btw, any suggestions in choosing a vase? Thanks.
No no, you’re doing it right! I did it backwards and only realized after cutting this video 🤦🏻♀️ Cut stems need to be immediately submerged in water so they absorb the moisture right away 👍🏻
cortina sin My mother always said to use what you have or what you can find. She made striking arrangements with an interesting, unusual container; a fine piece of branch with a nice line; and just one focal point: a flower, cone or seed pod. Then she experimented with it until it “spoke to her.”
