I really admire your sharing spirit Julie, so many designers and makers are tight lipped about their product design, we who craft and woodwork know that there re always people who will want to buy items that they love since they won’t ever make these things themselves. Ideas for ladder back chair: tiny hooks on every cross piece. Hang on wall or lean on dresser. Use to hang jewelry. Or: decorative knobs or an antique doorknob mounted on crosspiece to hang anything, dried herbs, hats, rooting vases....love the versatility of this piece❤️

Love everything Julie. You might want to consider using an outdoor sealer like Helms for the bricks. I don't think mod podge will hole up well over time. XXX

I absolutely love the antique bricks you rescued from the trash! And the tree box! I was thinking it might look good year round with the right kind of staging! Maybe a pretty ficus tree surrounded by potted flowers for spring. Beautiful in a foyer or even an office! Thanks for another inspirational video!!

another great flip for profit video!! i was so excited to see you feature the upcycled chair back...a couple years ago i did a similar flip... I hauled a set of 4-Cane Back Louis French Bistro chairs (just the full caned-back portions of the chairs like yours, but they included the 2-back legs) at a flea market from a furniture maker that had gone out of business...i chalk-painted the backs white, distressed and stenciled a small design on the frame and added a double-hook/wrought iron coat hook to the lower part of the caned frame...i sold them as wall hangings for coats, keys, purses, etc...i love all your creativity and look forward to your next installment! thank you again and make it a great week! :)

The ladder back chair would make a great towel rack to sit on the side of a vanity propped against the wall! Love the brick idea! Our house has two units A & B so doing bricks with both on them would be a great weather proof idea!

Yes to staging. I went dumpster diving for oyster shells. Found a shell recycling place. Grabbed some. Now clean them and craft

I don’t make things to sell but I always see others say they have a hard time staging. I’m sure everyone would love for you to do a video on it. Even though I don’t have a booth I’m remodeling my house and I can use the ideas for when I’m thrifting my own items and decorating. So yes please on the staging video. 😊❤️

The chair back as a ladder is brilliant 💯 I did this with two ladder back chairs about a year ago for my own home. I had them up for like a month and a friend of mine wanted some so bad that I sold her my set for $65 and was going to make myself another set but haven't got to it yet 🤣💖

I love!!! old bricks.💖. Talking about the toliet paper holder--cypress wood can't be cheap. I love cypress or cedar! I have a tray to paint and now I know what I am going to try--baking soda and paint. I have a duck and it will be painted same way. You have given me so many ideas, again! The only person I have to please is me and that is hard enough😄. I thrifted a white magazine rack for $5 and it is by my bed for various things. Yours turned out great (of course). Thanks for all the tips.
