Rachel, I just want to say thank you so much! You’re the reason I have my dog and have fostered 20 pups! And a lot of my family have adopted some of them! And I got my friend into fostering. You’re so amazing and on March 25th, 2020 I watched your how to get your parents to say yes to a puppy. The video was like no other! My mom decided to try to foster. And signed up for a bunch of foster pups. But my mom did want to adopt my pup mamba. And on May 3rd we adopted him! In late July we started fostering up onto now. Tomorrow I have a blind pit Pup I’m fostering. I’m only 11 but because of you I’ve already done so much fostering! I aspire to be like you one day when I grow up!

Just wanted to pop in and say that after watching a couple of Rachel's videos, I've taken her advice and started feeding my new puppy his meals by hand while going over his tricks with him. This curbed his biting and behavior drastically within just a couple of days! Thank you, Rachel 🥰

Hi I reviewed a bunch of your videos and I can say that I am crazy about your enthusiasm and love for dogs. So I have a question I had shih tsu, but she got sick and we had to put her to sleep. To fill the empty space we decided to take two shih tsu puppies. On January 2nd I can pick up the puppies from the nest. At first I didn't even think that something might not work, but I was told that there is Littermate syndrome. Now I am terribly afraid to take two girls puppies and I am afraid that I will not be able to raise them properly. What would you recommend? Should I take two shih tsu at once or is it really bad for dogs? After all, this is a shih tsu ... not a shepherd dog

I'm not really going to say yes or no but, if you're going to adopt two dogs it's going to be more work than one you'd have to separate them to train them.

And by the way I made a deal with my mom that if the puppy likes origin we will feed it dry food as a puppy (if she doesn’t like it we won’t feed kibble) and when she’s about 7 months we transition to raw because I’m worried about her licking my face or someone else’s and me or that person getting sick so can you help me with that decision

This may not be helpful, but you should work on aggressiveness when you get your dog since terriers tend to be aggressive. But other than that you should be fine.

Please Please if somebody could answer this, it would really help me out! I'm bringing my puppy home next week and I'd like to know ahead of time. So say I start using this method right away, where I take my puppy out every hour to potty. How will I ensure over time, when she's a bit older, that she'll no longer have to go every hour but will wait for a few hours before needing to go outside in order to potty. Because what if she gets used to going potty every hour and then won't be able to hold it for longer than that later on and I'll have to take her out every hour even when she's an adult. You should use cbd oil it's good for calming and seizures. You could try scheduling an online appointment. Sorry, I don't know much about dog health.

Hi Rachel! I’m getting a labradoodle soon. I bought a bag of dehydrated 100% beef lung on sale. Is this a safe treat for dogs? If so, what age? They chunks are pretty large and quite dry (hence dehydrated lol). Thanks!

Yes, I'm pretty sure if you cut them up they'd be perfectly fine for treats unless your dog has an allergy.

Hi Rachel! I am so thankful to you for the constant tips and tricks for training a dog. However, I do have one question, would these tricks work for older dogs? Say 11-12 months? My Labrador is between that and we are still in the process of training her and are literally at our wits end to find something that works and will help her. Once again, I am so thankful to you for everything you have done.

I’ve seen so many of your videos and love them and that you’re an advocate of raw food and limited ingredient treats. However, I have found that all the treats that come in barkbox, are NOT healthy and NOT limited ingredients. Can you explain why your promoting this?

Thank you for being such a supporter! I candidly love love LOVE the toys. They’ve lasted a long time for my dogs, and Wally. So so fun! With the world as it is, people haven’t been able to get out much, so am trying to show safer options ❤️❤️❤️ we’re all just doing the best we can ✨

Hi Rachel, I love your videos and they have been extremely helpful with my puppy. I'm still really struggling with him barking for attention not because he needs food or to go out but just if I look at the TV or anything besides him he barks. Is the best way to deal with this really to completely ignore until the barking stops and how long do you think it takes to train that way because his bark is very piercing. Any advice would be appreciated! Thanks!

In my opinion completely ignoring him is the best, by ignoring he'll realize that when he barks he gets ignored!

Hi Rachel! I have a 7 mon Australian Shepard, on a mostly raw diet. However, my local vet seems to be against raw and said i should just trust kibble to know my dogs getting the correct nutrients. I know raw is more work but I’m willing and have done the research to make sure my pup gets what she needs. What do you think of that?

PLEASE HELP !! I don’t know how to get my 9 weeks old golden doodle to stop hitting us , she goes for our hands when petting her she goes for our feet ans legs in the middle of us trying to play around w her toys with her & its bits pretty hard and will hold down like she’s got a toy ... she doesn’t listen when we say no & we always try to reinforce “yes” command when she is playing with somthing she can bite on

It might just be the puppy energy, you could try using positive interruption since dogs don't know what yes and no mean. Positive interruption is basically when you say a positive word like cake in-front of your dog and since they're paying attention to you, they get rewarded! Repeat until they get the cycle! Question: our dog is not quite 1 year yr old and has started humping this little boy I babysit often. I don't know how to stop it. I make her get down and say "down, no" but she goes right back. I have to set up a gate to keep her away from him.

This could be because he's excited, this may not be the best advice but separate them and when your dog stops and settles down on a leash bring the dog back to baby showing you only get to meet the boy whenever you calm down. My maltipoo puppy who is 8 months old just started to be very nervous around strangers. He would back up and start to shake. Any tips to overcome this or is this a phase?
