I found that if you put the crystals upsidedown on a piece of tape {like clear packing tape} and make a sheet of them you can cover things a lot faster. Just make sheet ,put glue on phone case ,turn sheet so tape is on top and set down in glue. Wait a few minutes then peel tape off. Fill in any gaps!!

I would recomend E6000 glue- you can find it at your local craft store. It holds like super glue but dries a little slower so you can put more rhinstoneson at one time without worrying about it drying to fast

After you are done you should cover it with Mod Podge. It dries clear and will keep the gems from falling off after using it for a while.(:

Hi Barbora, for my case, I noticed that the larger stone remained shiny while the smaller ones got really cloudy. I would try the glue on one stone before starting the project and while working on it, try your best to prevent contact of glue to the top part of the stone. I haven't tried with other glue so I can't give you comparison. Hope you have fun with your project!

use a candle tip next time to pick the stones faster...it helps..

e6000 is great for projects like this! superglue will actually melt the foil backing on cheaper stones and they will lose their sparkle and/or fall off.

try using e600 glue or epoxy glue. works well for me and stones dont fall off. love your work! fab doll

Natalie, the case looks amazing! I purchased the same rhinestones, but I just have one question, didnt the super glue make the bigger rhinestones cloudy? I wanted to use E6000 but than I heard that sometimes this glue makes acrylic/resin rhinestones cloudy,so I am trying to find glue that will leave the rhinestones shiny. Does anyone use E6000 with acrylic rhinestones? Thank you

I did not seal mine with Mod Podge. I can't tell for sure if it will work but I imagine it would cause the gem stones to become cloudy!

Did you coat the final product with midge podge ? It will help secure everything even better and add more shine and gloss to everything (: hope that helped !

What kind of phone case is best to use for e 600 glue? The soft gel cases or the hard plastic? I want to make sure my phone case doesnt melt with the glue.

+Bewiched21 I used the hard case which worked great! I think there shouldn't be a problem with the soft case as I have never experience E6000 melting through anything but I haven't tried it myself so, i don't want mess up your project! Test it on a small area first? Best of luck on your project!

These are just regular rhinestones I ordered from Ebay, not Swarovski crystals. i imagine it would be a lot more expensive. They do look pretty good eh? :-)

I have no idea and I gave the phone away so i can't really roughly count for you but let's try some math. For the iphone 4, length = 115.2 mm, width = 58.6 mm. I used 3mm gemstone so, for length, roughly 115.2/3=38 stones, width 58.6/3=20 stones, so the whole case should be around 760 stones hehehehe Hopes this helps!

Everyone is saying how E6000 is really good, but my personal experience sucked. It has a rubbery silicon texture, so my rhinestones just, like, stretched and fell off really easily.
