•Witches, vampires, devil, angels. • you could even make your own monster by making horns out of cardboard or something. •You could dress up as a pirate, and all you would need is rusty old looking boots, a hat, and some ragged clothes. •You could dress up as a fairy, and the only things you would need are sandles, a flowy dress, and some ears. (And maybe some jewelry) •For tall+short duos, you could do Peterpan and Tinkerbell. Wreck-it-Ralph and Vanellope. Gru and Lacy Wilde. Maleficent and Aurora
Another idea : Black dress, black shoes (or heels) and a ghostface mask, tadaa, super easy halloween costume, its super cheap when you already have the shoes and dress
"we think of ghosts as sheets because they used to wrap dead bodies in white sheets. So in the times when they were doing that, teenagers thought it was hilarious to dress up as people raised from the dead, walking around in the last thing they were ever wearing"
I feel like it would be better if you put the sides of the sunglasses through the holes They'll hold down the sheet to your face and be less likely to fall off
PLEASE READ THIS!!! I went as a ghost last year and it was awful the sheet got in the the mud and I could hardly see and the sheet also keep moving off my head so just a far warning before you try this!👻
I feel like for the mud part you could have a shorter ghost and for the unstable but you could use something to pin it to your head/add a wire to the top so its like a crown/ect
the idea that people would buy a ghost custume is pretty wild to me also, if you've got a couple of belts, a bandana, and a shirt you can make pirate work pretty easy and tbh even those are potentially flexible: start with a plain shirt, white or similar is best; then if you've got a waistcoat or corset add that; go for natural coloured bottoms or a frilly floaty skirt, just so long as it fits the vibes; add belts brown/black for preference both round you waist- through belt loops or just slung like a sword belt- and over the shoulder if you have one long enough, then add a bandanna if you've got one and all the blingy but piratey jewlry you have- nothing too modern looking; in terms of makeup, eyeliner is so piratey and mascara can make exelent stuble if thats the pirate look your going for. Its mostly in the little ways you style and wear it, layer piratey shit, maybe roll up you shirt sleeves a bit etc. oh also top tip for a potentialy more accurate look, a fun spin, and ren faire vibes, you can use a normal pair of trousers and some long socks (with the aid of string/ribbon to hold them up) to create a breeches look
I wish I could use sunglasses so I could have the holes for your eyes and NOT look weird, but I already have to wear actual glasses and I have no prescribed sunglasses. so either I have to deal with it, attempt to find a way, or somehow beg my mom to not cut the eyes holes in it (doesn't matter if I don't see or no) or maybe I could just look dumb and wear some shades of my real glasses.
i am backstage for my school production and i have i have a show in halloween night😢. btw i live in new zealand so the halloween spirit is 0 to none compared to usa
i lived in usa for a while so i know what halloween is like ther😢. shops out giving candy, fire trucks, loads and loads of people. i lived in palos verdes
I wore this like 2 yrs ago but I couldn’t see anything and bcs I live in Sweden it was dark too😭 we had to go up some stairs to knock on a door and they had a pumpkin at the top. Let’s just say it ended up on the bottom
Didja know that we think of ghosts as sheets because they used to wrap dead bodies in white sheets. So in the times when they were doing that, teenagers thought it was hilarious to dress up as people raised from the dead, walking around in the last thing they were ever wearing
