I recently made this. I sprayed my vases silver as that is the color my client requested for her centerpieces. If I were to have kept it clear, I would have used a round glass cutting board from dollar tree and glued the half foam ball to it, add flowers, and then place on top of bowl. It will leave it clear/mor polished, give it more height, and leave the possibility of fillers.
