I figure you could use gravity to filter out the co2. If you have a long tube going out the bottom of your biogas storage (tubing might minimize convection that prevents settling) then maybe the CO2 would naturally settle towards the bottom/end of the tube. If the tube ran to a small tank you could use a sensor to measure the co2 level and pump the co2 out once the concentration is high enough (i.e. mainly co2 and not methane). Then you could either compress and store the co2 in a tank or release it into your green house to feed the plants. Methane on its own floats in air and co2 sinks, so something like that seems possible.
That’s an interesting thought, I may experiment with a multi step scrubbing system this spring when it warms back up, the temps in here aren’t where they need to be for methane production this winter, but -15F outside and 50-60f inside I’m happy with lol. Thanks for ideas!
If one could come up with a way to do "your way of life" without all that plastic infrastructure (considering as well all the money generating; it takes to purchace; (again & again) such non-compostables - (which "for the most part" end up becoming part of the surface "& in the soil composition" of the earth which our future generations have no chioce but to grow their food from.) It makes me consider: it would be a much more ecologically sustainable way of life "type example" WOL if we keep our infrastructure a bit more (properly compostable & predominately free-of-charge (& in practice) more focused on very near 100% compostable & predominately free-of-charge - provisioned" methods for the beyter use of the earth's "kept natural" stainability of a future way of life to hand down yo more sustainable future Generations and less and less should we participate in the only way offered way of life empowered biomass populations generating personal wealth from nature to keep our oblivious Patron'ism so we could hand down something like a way of life more like A Future Retirement ( strictly locally procured provisions needing no petroleum products or roads to get from one end of the retirement village to the other) which would Empower our future Generations 2 predominantly disconnect from commercial'stic- capitalism by keeping focused on helping each other make adequate provisioning strictly locally - in our own pre-vetted Village population maintained way of life type village. Peacefully empowering ourselves "not to not to further participate other than to sell the surplus of what our way of life produces outside the village borders because inside the borders we would need no more money cuz we would help each other build a replaceable components near 100% compostable example way of life where we need not speak to the cameras to indoctrinate the minds towards spending more money which was trained into us by sending our children to the public schools Networks which indoctrinated our minds to think of all weekend covet and by in excess of convenience all designed to work up to furthering the money empowered cause of the One World made of money type excessive governance system's of overcomplicated unsustainability all for the money.
