This is a very detailed and easy tutorial on how to make a reversible bonnet with no elastic.
THIS IS MY RECOMMENDATION:
FOR ADULTS/TEENAGERS
2 Fabrics (26" by 26" each)
Head size : 21 " - 23"
FOR YOUNGER KIDS
2 Fabrics (24"by 24" each)
Head size: 17"-19"
FOR BABIES
2 Fabrics (20"by 20")
Head size:15"-16"

I made it this morning and it took me 3 hours because I'm new to sewing... It took me a long time to assemble the pieces of fabric correctly because the silk slips. But once pinned, your tuto is wonderfully well done! It's all there! Thank you so much! I'm so happy to give this hat to my darling daughter! I'm going to make lots and lots !! ❤❤❤

I just finished mine and it’s very lovely. I suggest you to make that hole a bit smaller, cause 4inch+4inch is a bit too big. Maybe do 3+3… But overall it is beautiful. And don’t forget to iron it! ❤❤❤

Some people find this one more comfortable as they don't like the feeling of elastic band on the head.

If anyone out there is serious about hair care, use real silk. Satin is still synthetic, and doesn’t nourish your hair the way silk does, if you’re able to find some.
