Now that I’ve completed my base costume it’s time for the fun stuff.
I will add a ruffle collar and trim out the arm holes with purple fabric. After that, I will cut out purple spots to place all over the costume. With that done, I want to distress it a bit to make it look weathered and old. Lastly, he needs his belt and star belt buckle to finish up the base costume.
I found most of his accessories at the dollar store. I was able to find a green yo-yo, paddle ball, and a small rubber chicken. Had to go to Spirit Halloween for horn.
I did have to paint some of the items for a more similar look to his costume.
After all that was dry, I glued everything to the belt.
That finishes this part of the costume.
Next, I will be making his shoes, plus sleeves and leggings.
