@@KeyserTheRedBeard if you are making use of non stretchy fabric you can maintain the pattern. But for stretchy fabric, depending on the elasticity of the fabric you won’t need to add allowance and then you will also adjust the pattern for the up. Because the up part is usually smaller than the down. So you might just stick to removing an inch for the measurements on the up part. Depending on the elasticity of the fabric and the fit of the client.
