This wonderfully Boho Pouch was made completely by hand. The simple pouch was created when I cut up a pair of old jeans to make some simple projects with. I took one of the legs and cut it up, using a section from the thigh portion of the jeans to create the pouch from. I didn't film the sewing portion of the project as I'm not an avid sewer and didn't think I would be able to create a good tutorial of that portion of the project. The pouch measures 5.5" 7.5" and the strap is a piece of the seam from a different pair of jeans. It's a sturdy pouch and can be used for carrying small items for a day out. The pouch is available in my Etsy Shop for anyone who is interested in purchasing it.
A special thank you goes out to a few people for most of the bits and pieces used in this project. Thank you to: Sherry Lorang for the lace used to cover the strap, Kerith Murphy for some of the handmade flowers and the beautiful angel she created which I used on the front of the bag, also, I would like to thank Gail Flemming for most of the old laces and fabrics used to create the bow and tastle. I really don't know what I would do without the generosity of my subscribers who send me some of the most beautiful embellishments that are used in all of my projects. You are all a true blessing to me.
