Thank you for this! I was looking all over for a cheap cover for my discbound half letter planner but they were all more than I wanted to spend. I wanted a cover that wasn’t bulky and would contain my pages/hold everything together when I threw it in my bag while I’m out. They are all so expensive and not exactly what I wanted anyway. I make my own covers laminating cute papers and cards stocks but I worry about that getting scuffed up somehow or something and want it to have some sort of closure. The folders with the elastic closure are PERFECT and this is so inexpensive. Thank you!
This is so beautiful! I've been looking for a cover for my Happy Planner and this is perfect! Thank you!💜 I had to subscribe about 10 seconds into your video! I can't wait to watch more of your content.
Thanks Soooooo much for sharing! I cannot find a cover anywhere for my skinny classic., and I want to be able to take it on the go. This is perfect to protect it. Very pretty and practical, not to mention cost effective lol. Great video 👍
I love this. I recently got a skinny planner that I use for grocery lists and it goes in my purse. I wanted to make a travelers notebook cover for it, this is better. Thanks for the great idea and tutorial. I have been waiting to see your tutorial on how to make a planner cover ever since I saw your fall cover you said you made.
That is awesome! I just got my new laminator as I wore my old one out! I can now do a tutorial on laminating and making your own covers, bookmarks, dashboards, etc. Thanks for the request and stay tuned!
Great idea!! Thank you!! I can definitely see myself using this someday soon. I would love to see your process of making the stickers/labels that you create in excel and use in your wellness planner. I’d like to do something similar in my household planner.
Thank you so much for the feedback! I had a spreadsheet and kiss cutting tutorial on the list but I have just moved it to the top of the list so stay tuned - Coming soon!
This is perhaps one of the best diys for planners out there and the only one I've seen so far on the topic. I will say, the combo of dark surface and dark cover material made it hard to see, though. I also wonder, what do you use for a half letter or classic size? Do you still use the envelope storage folder? Or is there something else that is larger? Thank you for sharing your information. 🙂
I love this, and hit subscribe button seconds into your video. I recently got a cover for my Classic HP but due to living in the UK 🇬🇧 the postage from USA 🇺🇸 was half the price of the actual cover, which I can’t afford all the time! I love your idea as it’s a lot more practical and within my budget. Could the plastic liners be cut on a Cricut or Silhouette and be used to make acetate covers for shaker cards? TFS ❤
I ordered one off of Etsy thinking it would be like this, but definitely not ☹️ I tried to look for them in local stores, but I guess they are not selling the file folders right now!!! Do you happen to sell any just like in the video for the skinny classic? I love it!!!
Sorry to hear that - I looked back to try to figure out exactly where I found the black folder in the video. The best I can tell I got it at a Dollar Tree - I hope this helps!
