It’s always a good idea to cut a few extra cm / inches, in case your tension is looser, or you are using a slightly thicker rope.

23 x 42 cm (9 x 17 inch)

- Dowel, 25 cm (10")
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Tapestry needle (or bobby pin)

The measurements in centimetres is different to the inches did you work using the centimetres or inches please im at a loss. It says 25cm is 10 inches but its only 7.5 inches. I live these patterns but all the videos give conflicting measurements

@@claireblandford4097 Hi Claire, thank you for watching my videos! I think you're talking about the length of the dowel, right? I work with cm, so my dowel was 25 cm. When you convert 25 cm to inches you get 9,84251969 inches which I rounded up to 10 inch as this difference is insignificant for this purpose. I do my very best to convert all measurements correctly, but I might make a mistake sometimes. Please let me know if you find one so I can correct them :) Thanks for watching!
