I think you need to add another bar so you have something to hold onto for balance while squatting. I noticed that your lower back was rounding on those squats because you were trying to compensate for the lack of balance.
Hi Chris, Just to clarify, you aren't using the Spud Inc. "Dip" - specific belt, right? You're using their actual "hip" belt squat variant? It's priced nearly 2X the price than the dip variant, so there's of course one of the motivating reasons I ask. Thanks for all you do, and Hank Hill (lol) is absolutely right as I've told you before. Never stop posting your workout vlogs and insights here. It's fun for all of us to watch. Thanks.
@@chrisallenworkingoutathome Thanks, yeah. It seems that the hip belt squat is nearly double in price and the only viable way I can see of my procuring this acessory object is next year for BF/CM deals, legitimately when the price drops to a "regular" price. Did you end up purchasing it for the $100 advertised price point, or?
I purchased the belt years ago, pre covid, and on a sale. Don't remember what the price was. You could check Facebook Marketplace or Craigs list, might find a deal.
