It seems like it won't work. The turn ratio may be too much or too fast to be able to control it properly, but I'm not sure about that since I'm just guessing by watching it.
I came across a video of it on the run. It turns quite well but the down side is that he used a noisy gasoline motor. It would have been awesome if he used an electric motor.
Saudações do Brasil amigo 🇧🇷
Lock the front, break the base in 2 and let the back swivel like rip sticks so your back side can swing around a little in corners while front door is stable with that from axis
Good invention but it has a lot of play at high speed, it is dangerous. I recommend that you add two shock absorbers lying on the front that connect to the main bar that supports the 2 tires to balance the weight and maintain a more stable axle.
Well that’s a amazing recommendation. Thank you for that. I love people who are not stingy about what how and why something can be better or what to do to make it better. You’re pretty awesome!
It seems like it won't work as it is now. The turn ratio may be too aggressive or too fast to be able to control it properly. Besides, it is a double axle, which makes it even less stable, but I'm not sure about that since I'm just guessing by watching it.
Add a counterbalance, a flex plate and a reverse action. Though a less aggressive turn angle would suffice. It won’t give you the turn rate you built this board for. Try tying or wrapping elastic bands to the steering first. That should help reduce power wobbling, which is a skateboard term for aggressive harmonics. Then weld a jockey handle to either the axle or the frame and use your free hand to balance. Then you’ll be good up to 40mph or 65kph so that it can be tested safely.
This is cool. I did notice the front doesn't go back to center fully. If you put the caster below and in front of the front axel instead of on top and behind, the front will go back to center position easier. Its kinda like how a shopping cart works. The wheel follows the swivel joint and will always do so. Your wheels are in front of your swivel joint in front cause you bar is in front of the caster, this will make it hard to balance. I do think you've done a good job, but I also believe you can get better results by doing the front different.
This is spot on dude❤ I made something very close to this in my lunch breaks from fabricating xtrucks. No rear wheel steer tho like this beaut. I put a Husqky chainsaw motor on it🤔 so it had a clutch but breaks just a kill switch 💀😳🌬️. Gotta say it was the biggest grin for anyone game enough to jump on🤣🤣🤣.
Người nước ngoài khen, người nước mình phân tích chê đủ kiểu 😂. Góp ý hợp lý nhất là bề mặt bạn thêm chút tôn nhám hay ốp tấm nhám mặt như ván trượt vào là ok
Crazy wobbles, possibly wheel bite too they look close to the deck at full turn. Looks like offroad wheels but any bumps with those sloppy trucks will throw you off
Im a mechanic in designing this, so my thoughts is its a good invention, but it has a lot of play at high speed, it is dangerous. I recommend that you add two shock absorbers lying on the front that connects to the main bar that supports the 2 tires to balance the weight and maintain a more stable axle
Cool design, but I would be distrustful of those welds on that rebar after a little use... Might want to find a way to beef those up. That rebar may not hold its shape over time either.
It’s a concept…it’s in the process off engineering the functional design… I don’t think the welds are anywhere near the final level… and it may not even be welded for the final design. 😊
Don't use that rebar for an axle. It's not designed to be load bearing like that. It will start to bow the first time you ride. Use the same square tubing you did for the frame, but turn it 45° so it's like this ◇ not this way □. Looks cool though.
Love the idea. May need some angle stops to keep it inside a degree of turn. A lite shock absorber would also slow the turn I ordered to control it. Fantastic build👏🏽
@@rexwells4552you know how easy it is to bend rebar with only the force of a sledgehammer? At speed it is more than likely this contraption will meet this force. 😂
@@MrArcher0 I see your point but my opinion is that the distance between the wheels and the weight of an average human would be minimal compared to what it would take to bend that bar.I’m not an engineer but have built a lot of one of a kind tools and machines and usually over compensate.Your point is well taken and you could be right.
