These projects have made my list of favorites! I wish I could figure out why my sewing machine doesn’t do well on the paper. Besides not being able to sew a straight line to save my life (lol), the holes in the stitch seems to be so big even with a 10 needle. 🤔

I know the hardest part is hanging on, when all that we see is what is right in front of us, and we can’t comprehend it all but we just have to trust. God is God no matter the chaos around us. That’s what we have to stay focused on. Take one day at a time. Don’t get stuck in the past or worry about the future. Be anxious for nothing. He gives us everything we need. I am so excited I have ordered so many ( oh dear if my husband ever knew 🤦♀️) so many supplies from Renesboutiques, Hobby Lobby, DT, and I’ve been trying to place an order at craftingwithkimber, but her shop is temporarily closed 😞 I have just about all the supplies I need to start recreating all of your project! I can’t wait to get started. I’m in the middle of painting and putting in floors in our attic so by the time I’m done with that I’m to exhausted to craft but hopefully will be soon! Can’t wait to share with you !

Love everything! What color thread do you use mostly in sewing machine? I sew on my cards but mostly use white because I’m not a pro at changing the thread LOL. 🥰
Thank you Brenda! You know, I usually work with 4 main colors…black, white, cream and a tan-ish (light brown) color. I find I use the white or tan (light brown) mostly, but will change to another color depending on the paper and I want the thread to show up better….or sometimes I might just use same color on same color. Just use what your feeling….aka….thread changing is not your friend. 🤣🤣 Hugsies!
Love how your projects turned out! Does the fabric glue help the paper to stick to the wood better than other glues? I'm planning a wood & paper project and thought of wood glue but now you have me wondering since it looks like you do a lot of wood & paper projects. Thank you!
Thank you so much Catherine! Yes that Fabritac glue holds like no other to so many surfaces! Wood, metal, glass…It’s awesome!! And it doesn’t bubble. I’ve used it for years and I have projects still holding together today…even after being stored in totes in our attic where it gets extreme hot temps in the summer. I’ve had stuff fall off the wall, because I was clumsy and bumped into it 😜…nothing breaks or falls off. Give it a try! I think you might like it! Many blessings!
Love all these projects my favorite as well I can't really pick a favorite but I'm going to try to make the first one baked on fake and love already forgot what the second was but you have a free printable and I appreciate that so much but I want to ask you a question and if you have time to answer it I would sure appreciate it by the way my name is Tina I share my email with my husband I know that the little rolling pins are not that expensive but my hobby lobby is quite far away and I do not have time to order them online so it's wondering if you know how to make one or any suggestions on how to make when I was sure appreciate the help thank you so much may God bless you and your family and I can't wait until your next DIYs ❤️🙏
Hey Tina! Thank you so much for your sweet words! I’m do hope you try and make these. I was thinking about a way to make a rolling pin….do you have any large round dowels? I know Walmart has large sizes in the craft section….you can cut them down to about a 4-5 inch size and then use a smaller dowel to cut small handles with or you could use round beads for the ends to make a decorative handle? Or even use air bake clay and make some cute handles and glue them on the ends. I’d probably even try making a whole rolling pin out of the clay…why not?? I actually bought a large wood dowel at Habitat for Humanity to make my own larger rolling pins and found some cute decorative wood pieces for the ends. I hope any of these suggestions might help. @@LindasDIYbyDesign thank you so much Linda for getting back to me I appreciate it so much those are great ideas but I actually figured it out I did use the handle of one of the dollar store sponges and some Dollar store beads and I painted them red and then I painted some white and some black the handles and they actually turned out very cute but I really like the idea I thought about clay but I'm not very good molding things lol but thank you so much may God bless you happy mother's Day pray you have a very blessed and happy mother's Day 🙏
