You are brilliant. Thank you for saving me the hassle of cutting all that pvc pipe! I was just about to go to the hardware store. HA! This is soooo much easier. Thank you Thank you Thank you.
what a NEAT idea. I've been using the makeup sponge wedges, but it's a bit hard to control. This will be quick, fun, and soooo helpful. Love these tips that use stuff I already have around. TFS!
Great idea! Thanks for sharing. Just a thought would drawer liner work to cover the chip board? I'm going to try using other materials as I don't have burlap and its a bit pricey.
Absolutely the best idea i've seen yet. I need to furnish 36 daubers to students in a class iIm teaching next week. Now, I can significantly lower the materials fee!
This the CHEAPEST way to make sponge daubers I've seen, Thank you! Another cheap technique I saw is to put the thinner flat makeup sponges onto the end of flat doll head clothespin (like a dowel).
Yep, that's what it's called... Burlap! When I can't remember a word, I call it having a Senior's moment! LOL! Cheers! Thanks for the cool money saving idea! Hugs! Janet in Canada < 3
Aesthetic . It also probably makes it a tad sturdier, chip board isn't exactly known for prolonged use. I made similar, instead using a paper mache making it so I can seriously pound some color. Just make it how you want, don't have to follow any craft video step by exact step. :)
