In American Crochet the treble shown here is DOUBLE crochet and the double crochet she shows is SINGLE. How that helps! This is a Fantastic pattern - beautiful, easy, fast, and perfect for a one day project. I was snowed in and used this pattern with soft #4 yarn I already had and never had to leave the house. My gift was easily done by bedtime and I'd even started on a second one! Can't beat that. :D
