If you want to measure straight pant and your thigh measurement is bigger than your hip measurements which one will you use to work on the pant.. hip or thigh measurement?

Use your thigh measurement on your crotch line so instead of dividing your hip circumference by 20 to get your crotch extension, you are going to divide your thigh measurement by two OK Mark it on your crotch extension

@@julietraak don't do it on a separate paper...that's how your pattern is done...you are correct...to draft this method on another paper will confuse you and stress you

Thank you my love but i have a question my hip is 44 and my thigh is 28 but i like my trousers to have to be free a little. so for my back and front crotch what should I use

Add 1 inch to your hip measurement Hip 44+1= 45/4 = 11.25 approximately to 11.5 inches So 11.5 inches will be your length To get your back crotch extension Hip 45/10 =4.5 Inches To get your front crotch extension Hip 45/20= 2.25 approximate it to = 2.5 From the back waist raise it 1.5 inches From the front waist raise it 0.5 inch. Great job ma'am Ma'am please can you shade more light on the crotch aspect please. Actually i am hip 37 but i love wearing high waist trousers so i usually add 2 inches extra to my crotch because i don't like it very tight around the crotch. Please which is the best way to get the crotch measurement please is it by dividing the hip by 4 or by passing the from under your legs please .

Divide Your hips by 4 to get your crotch measurement Raise the back waist with 1.5 inches
