Very well done Froggy!! I can understand how much time and patience it takes to do that!! I can braid my doll's hair but it's very hard for me to braid my own hair 😅! For the first time I braided my doll's hair and I didn't really sectioned it! My doll was a Barbie with very long hair just like Rapunzel! And her hair was straight so l used up all of my loom bands! As those were the only things I could find!! I finished it in 1 or 2 days braiding for 3-4 hours! And I did it during Summer vacation when the flight is only 2-3 hours and there is no mini TVS on the seats!

@myfroggystuff ever thought of crocheting single thread and do a re root with them? Crocheting looks like braids. It's much faster than braiding one by one. That is, if we don't count re-rooting. *Just a thought.

I have a question. Do you use rubber bands at the end? If you don’t, how does it stay?

If you boil wash the ends, dip in ice water and repeat a few times the braids will be sealed better

I took a jasmine doll of mond and braided her hair to the side it took forever but i did and she look awesome

Wow, I love the look. I have never tried braiding a whole head. I have "cheated" by doing partial reroots with prebraided microbraids (made for humans. I buy from ebonyonline.com) by threading the microbraid onto needle (with an eye just large enough to accomodate the braid) and rerooting as you would with yarn (not rooting through every factory hole. Every other or every third hole works better).

Would this method work on American Girl dolls/18" dolls? Cause I received an 18" Madame Alexander Witch of the West/Elphaba doll and I want to try braiding her hair into numerous braids to look more like Cynthia Erivo.

I love this! I really wanna try this on one of my dolls but since the ends aren't tied or glued i'm a little afraid the braids might unravel and undo all my hard work. Can someone who has tried this tell me if they do unravel over time? Would it be better if i glued the ends with a little pva glue? Thank you
