@@upholdsanity3759 you have to build it , not hard to do at all. Every one's needs are different as far as planters . Quick note alibaba has them for sale from China if you want to go that route
This is why I love social media because we as a great people from all walks of life can continue bonding closer together, sharing cultures, cuisine, DIY’s…thank you sir in showing your awesome talent and patience, simply amazing!
Everybody has their own opinions...Keep doing it the way YOU want to do it. They are beautiful!! That is all that is important and i am jealous lol!! God bless you in abundance!!
Very Creative! I loved that you showed us how we can try it for ourselves. You have so much talent! Plants, Building stands, Creative concrete pots, Amazing!
Omg. You are simply brilliant! I cannot believe how easy you made that look & I know it’s because of your experience & knowledge that enabled you to break it down for those of us who would not have figured out how to do it by ourselves. I am so impressed! Will you please tell me what those gorgeous plants are behind you in those cement pots? They are just beautiful! I especially love the one with the red & white colors. Thanks so much for sharing your experience& techniques with us. I used to love to do pottery old school style with a kick wheel so I really want to try this. I don’t have all the tools I need yet nor a wheelie chair, but I certainly hope to get to this project over the summer. Thanks so much!!!
People please listen and watch, this is the best way to make large pots. Furthermore, This Kind gentlemen explains it very detailed for ANYONE to make. ANYONE
I've found plenty of useful "junk" just from cruising around neighborhoods the day before garbage day. You can find all sorts of stuff that is thrown out because the owner no longer has a use for it, but can be perfectly fine with some TLC or ingenuity.
You’re so kind. Thank you for sharing this how to video! May I share that sabbath is not sun day. You gave me your great inspired gift how to make cement pots for garden plants. I feel I should share important information with you too. Blessings brother.
Sir u make me to wake up n do things or activities like this for my fmly better from wtching movies or playing gmes in covid all day now. Thnks sir, i think my mom will be shock if i replaced old with the new one
Hi, your video is awesome, I do have a question which sand are you using to create the mold foundation, is it play sand from homedepot or regular white sand will do ? i see it sticks together do we have to wet the sand first ?
I saw your earlier video about making those beautiful planters. Still planning to do that myself one day, so this tutorial is mighty welcome! One little thing though. You keep calling the material for your mold "flexiglas", when I am pretty sure you are actually using Plexiglas (also know as acrylic glass). Flexiglas is a product you can make glass-like sheets with to use in all sorts of artistic endeavors. Its a thick fluid polymer that hardens when cured in an oven, but can still be modeled using scissors and the like (to make glass in lead for example. Besides your planters I am also very impressed by the plants you have in them. Looks like you are based in Florida or California. Please tell us what those plants you have in the background are. They look like giant flowering bonsais!..............................................Aah they are Plumeria, aka Frangipani or Temple Trees. 😀
My goodness, look at those adeniums at the back! No 5 from the right is awesome! How did you get them so large? Where are you? I am trying to get these to grow in sunny Scotland!
Are you using cement with gravel, or portland with sand only. I see you stated below a 50-50 mix. and then use a slurry mix for the final top coat. I'm an old concrete guy trying to understand where the strength comes from, certainly not from a single wire, just portland and sand doesn't have that much strength at 1in thick. I[m retired now but would like to make some for the home and friends. FYI, did you know portland also comes in white, and not just grey.
Gravel will not help. Just sand and portland cement. 50-50. If you want it lighter in weight, then add more perlite in the mix. Final coat is just cement only. Thank you
Please tell us what the dimensions are of the template you are using for this pot. How tall is it from the table up to the top edge and the width. Thank you for a reply.
I can’t believe how neat and precise he is. Id have concrete all over my body in my hair on my driveway it would be flying everywhere ..he is really amazing. Just goes to show you….patience is a virtue. He’s a master!
You, my friend, are BADASS! I had no idea where you were going with all that until you started to turn the sand on your turntable. That's genius. Bravo!
Interesting I have saved the seat and back of my old swivel chair as kneeling pads as my knees can not bend onto hard ground so anyone who is watching and love Gardning as well don’t dump the seat and back take if all the hardware on them and they make fantastic kneeling pads for not just your knees but also your shines too 😊😊😊😊😊😊 I have my old swivel chair which I was going to turn into a welding station for Dad but now I think I will use for this idea 😹😹😹 sorry Dad next chair I will make one for you😹😹😹 as I have been wanting to make my own cement pots since I finished rendering the wall for you and after watching his video on how to make the pots I was trying to work out how to make the base for it 😹😹 thank you Sir for taking the time to share your knowledge and time with us you are very talented and I look forward to seeing more in the future from you🤗🤗🤗🤗
After the sand it's ready just spray with a mix of water and sugar and start to cover with fiber Glass to have a permanent bowl so you can do as many you want in cement
Excellent technique, thanks so much for sharing. I was about to throw away an old office chair, I'll take it apart and save the bottom for this use. What a great idea!
It’s interesting to me that so many people on these channels appear to be speaking at me or selling something, but I feel as if sonny is sharing something with me.
@@davidronquille7175 I don’t know. I’m pretty old and I don’t think I’ve ever seen such a thing. Private parts deodorant? Really? What kind of algorithm have you spun for yourself?
I am amazed at how much stuff you can learn to make on your own, by just watching a RU-vid video, thanks to the many people who has taken the time to share their wealth of knowledge with us. Thank you for this video sir.
