Hi - i purchased this pattern and noticed the side panels are not the same size in the shoulders and I think that has been throwing me off (i'm making the size 12). For reference the shoulder measurements for the back are wider than the one for the front. I think i can make the adjustment. So far I am enjoying putting this together.

You made it look so easy for a beginner like me. I just didn't get the part where you gather? Can you explain how you sew the fabric to gather them? Also, would love to purchase the pattern, does it come with kids size 2T and 5T?

Hi Regina, Gathers making starts at 19:41 Just you have to make gathers one side of the rectangle box and I have shown this in the image with red dotted lines… I will share the pictures in Instagram DM, please check. Sizes are available for adults, but If you really want it, I can make and send it for the little ones as a Christmas gift 😊 for free. Please let me know their correct age. also if you have any doubts feel free to ask me.

I know this was 3 months ago, but what Naaz did is called the basting stitch. It requires you to sew TWO parallel lines at the longest stitch length. You then hold the bobbin threads and tug the fabric so it bunches up along the thread. That’s what i gathered anyway.

I'm a bit confused at 11 minute- I'm a new sewer and I dont know what you mean by you overlocked it, what do I do if I dont have an overlocker?

Hi Rebecca, Overlocking means finishing the seams raw edges. Like readymade garments but if you don’t have overlock machine, you can use zigzag stitch and finish the raw edges with that..please ping me for any questions in Etsy chat …

Hi Dhivya, yes you will have sizes in the pattern, you need to choose one based on the given size chart, and then print it out and cut it by following given instructions in the pdf.

Once cutting the pattern is done, then you can cut the fabric by putting on paper, then follow this RU-vid video to stitch it.

Yes but pls follow instructions from the pdf I have given how to print and all, you need to give custom scale 100% while printing. Also you need to give a4 pdf if your browsing center is using a4 papers in their printers. Pls read the instructions file for more info
