Hand painted fashion is HUGE right now, but not everyone has the artistic ability to do it themselves.... Until now!!
I am going to show you how to Splatter Paint your vines, and stamp your flowers.
Anyone can do it, regardless of artistic skill...it just takes a few practice swings ;)
MATERIALS

This paint will NOT come out in the wash!

I did this few years back. I did it in blue . And i ironed butterflies and flower motifs on top. But reaction was not the one I hoped for. Everyone was like "oh no! What happened ? Did a carbon pen spilled on you?.." 😂😂 they thought I was carrying a pen in my pocket and it over flowed. Amount of explanations I had to do with those.... So what I learned was the color is the key...

Acetone can help you get acrylic paint out of clothes. I know that wasn't the point of this video, but like, I studied chemistry in college and sometimes I forget that that's not common knowledge. Just be careful using it abrasively on synthetic fibers.

@@candyflossinct If the varnish is synthetic or polymer based, I'd give acetone a shot! If it's water based, stick with soap and water! I did a similar thing to a pair of pants once and acetone got most of it out. To me, it sounds either oil or acetone based, given that washing it isn't doing much. If it's oil based, give a mixture of hand sanitizer and dish soap a shot

Gorgeous....I have a pair in storage from 1974 when it was first done using acrylic/oil paints....a crazy artist friend of my mothers (hippie legacy) did them for me....I luuuuuuved them...Hugs

Omg!! ❤️️❤️️❤️️ pants are so cute.. In high school in the mid 90's ( many moons ago) I had a friend he did this to all our friends pants.. I had my last name spray painted with vines and flowers 🌺 I want to try this ❤️️❤️️❤️️beautiful 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼

I used to splatter paint my jeans with nail polish back in the 80’s as well as paint them and write sayings all over them. I also used to make my own fabric patches out of old sheets and crayons. I would, let’s say put the cloth over a comic and wet the paper and then iron it to get an outline. Then I would color it with crayons and iron again setting the color into the fabric. Then I would sew them on jeans and jean jackets and shirts, etc,. I love being creative with clothing. It’s so fun!

I love this. I didn't know there was a hallmark channel with crafts. I thought it was just hallmark movies. I love these jeans so much! You can make mommy and daughter matching jeans and jackets or just jeans. Like you said you can do a juvenile pair with the colors and a mater pair with mature colors. Lol hope I said that right.😁 I'm realizing these videos are years old. Do you think that some I should make because they are out of style? If so which ones please? I'm not good with what's in or not. That's why I watch you! Lol! So I can just copy hahaha! No imagination here!😁 please let me know k? It's February 2022. Thanks gf!

So making these. You could also cut out flowers from scrap fabric and glue them on also.! Either cut out flower motifs, or cut flower shapes!! So many options !! To make yellow pollen put yellow on a toothbrush and use that to make splatter dots!

I love watching your Hallmark segments, so thanks for taking us behind the scenes with you. Enjoyed that very much. The jeans are great. Very creative and boho looking. I've always had problems trying to get the paint spatters to look right. Mine always look messy (clumpy) - not artsy. Thanks for the tips. I'll give it another try.

Sabina Hertzum….to get the look of the shirt, you only need to have a shirt that has drawstrings at the neck area and instead of pulling the string tight across the chest/under the neck you loosen the opening so the sleeve are on the shoulder and then tie the string around you neck (like an halter). It really a quick way of changing an oversize thrift store loose neck drawstring at the neck shirt. Hope this helps.
