Today is my very FIRST collaboration with the incredibly talented Kawaii Sweet World!! / @kawaiisweetworld
We were both super inspired by the Fendi Floral Strap Bags + Backpacks and we each had our own take on it!

For my video I show you how to adhere the faux leather flowers with metal studs or glue, so you can do it either way (Although the studs are so easy and much cooler looking... so i secretly hope you do that version ;)

What I did was go to a thrift store and bought some cheap faux leather things and made the flowers out of the leather myself :)

Love this - however - I'm going to be honest -I'm LAZY - so I actually got a beautiful gold ALDO floral handbag for under 40 bucks, used (an 20 percent of the sale went to help sea turtles! versus spending over 1700 bucks on a USED FENDI designer handbag!!!!

i love DIYs and i think that is great to be super creative BUT there is thin line to cross and doing all of that diys which are about to stealiing some brands look or projects are bad, im a young designer and i hate when someone want to steal my ideas and projects.... soooo, well im not very into that kind of diys ... and for me its also kitchy to recreate big brands ideas.... ;/

Zuzanna Jadczyk I totally hear ya AND I appreciate you taking the time to comment. I guess the way I look at it is... I would rather inspire someone to make a one of a kind piece, FOR THEMSELVES (not for resale) than go out and buy the knock off from forever21, Zara, H&M, Target OR the high end designers that knock off the ultra luxury designers. It sort of happens at every level and trickles down unfortunately. But to me, I see nothing wrong with making a one of a kind piece for your own wardrobe if you can’t afford the original.

Zuzanna Jadczyk This concept isn't really new. This used to be big in the 60s. the difference here is the colors are much more subtle and neutral than the ones decades ago. Unfortunately, if you're a designer, "copying" is all part of the process. There is hardly anything out there that's new. When you're creating an A-line dress, you're copying from someone who made it first. You can't trademark designs, just the logos. Fashion is cyclical and most of these trends cycle every decade or so.

This was a great video until I got the gratituous watch me chew food with my mouth open, see how food masticate in my mouth documentary.
