DIY: How to open and fix Cayenne door lock that stuck closed...ENG 

Seeing that you made all your other videos in your native language. Thank you very much for making this one in English. I have this issue on my 06 CS and I've been jumping in from the passenger side for the past month looking like a crazy person. There is absolutely zero help on google it seems Cayenne owners aren't very collaborative like Club Lexus and others. I stumbled on this video by accident, I hope mine is as easy as yours, my Bowden (inside) cable is intact which is what I thought it was initially. I can hear the door lock and unlock, I'm not certain about the out side cable but I hope it is as easy as WD40 since removing panels (with the door closed), rivets, inner metal shell is going to be a true nightmare.

It worked perfectly. When prying from the inside of the glass I was able to insert a long knife and reset the mechanism. Took me about 10min! Thanks you

I just used this method,sprayed a lot of lubricant on both sides of the window. Used a long ruler to push the cables and the latches a little. Door opened like a charm. Thank you!

I just came across your video and after loosing two straws from my spray can down the inside of the door i got my micro cam down there and noticed that the black swivel part of the cable where it attaches to the arm was hitting just the smallest amount on the window ( like a milimeter). as soon as i rolled the window up a 1/4' it unlatched. Thank god because i just changed that whole locking assembly inside the door the other day.

I did actually what the video shows. It fixed my issue. I had to use a small long flat head to loosen hinge for the door to reset and open the door

Hello! I have my backside passenger side door stuck, central lock working i guess, because i hear the noise, but not able to open it inside nor outside. Few last months i could open it from inside, but but its gone. The backside windows cant go down 100%, just ~halfway down. Any ideas how to fix ? '09 GTS, thanks

Oh that’s y when I push on the door then pull the handle it then opens ok
