Thank you so much for making this tutorial! I've been looking everywhere for how to paint roller skates but most tutorials suggest using craft acrylic paint rather than something more durable.

This turned out so well! I can't wait to customize my used pair! I'm buying it second hand! They're suede so I'll need different paint but I'll figure out what's the best kind to use on suede skates
How well did this hold up? I've been considering it for a little while but afraid that scuffs will reveal the color underneath and end up looking worse..
Thank you! I highly recommend painting your skates! The paint has held up really nicely actually, the only cosmetic damage I have on my skates now is random scuffs from falling, but that's all my doing because I'm clumsy lol.
Gorgeous skates! I have an unrelated question about your skates though. Could you tell me what tool you used to remove your toe stop to put your toe caps on please? I've been struggling to find information on what tool I need to buy to remove mine! Thank you
Hi, I was getting new skates and was wondering if I would still need to use the leather prep and the finish, I will still obviously sand them I'm just on a budget
You could try to forgo them, but I personally wouldn't. I think there's a reason Angelus suggests the process. It has to do with the paint adhering correctly and having a clean surface.
Honestly, not much at all. I believe I got all three Angelus items in 4 oz bottles and I hardly used any of it. I imagine I could paint multiple pairs of skates (or do a ton of touchups on mine) and I would still have so much left over.
