Wow, those projects were amazing. It could be you opened up the Ballard Design Catalog and ordered these pieces on line. I love the technique of one frame inside another….genius👏👏👏. Ok HTV here is another future Show Host ready to Go! ❤️❤️
Its called a Dremel. They are very handy. Your projects are beautiful. Thank you for teaching us to change and reuse not just once but keep changing. Smaller foot print which is always preferable.
I've been there too, spending days sanding off old varnish... I feel your pain! So I'm encouraged it's not just me and it's worth it in the end. I've used your paintwash technique a couple of times and it works really well. I also loved the dresser you white-washed and stencilled with a white tribal pattern (during lock-down I think) and copied what you did on a couple of pieces. I'm happy to see you!! The work on the desk was enormous; brava!! It turned out beautifully. It doesn't look mass-produced but as though someone made it, and what I thought of was an architect's desk. But small. I love the lamp and the vase as well. I've seen a number of videos about texturing a vase with spackle etc., and most look overwrought and unnecessarily rough. I always turn back to your videos (and now this one) when I try to do this, as yours most resemble Olive Ateliers, I believe it's called. My progress so far on small items: I think I'm getting it. The projects are spackle-tacular and many inspirational initiatives like these ones are welcomed to bring freshness to the air deco in the interiors. Even though the sanding process was like sometimes these projects are (nerve wrecking 😬) I admire and appreciate the fact that it was presented with honesty and humour plus added an extra solution as bonus (mountain zipped) although it's far from my choices. Whoever will work on that desk will have a bountiful of inspiration with the statue coming out of the frames meanwhile the doggies will get astonished on how fast the time is passing looking at the propeller 🙂🐕🕒

Wow! That desk was a true labor of love and very worth it! Looks beautiful! The whole video was very informative, thanks for the encouragement regarding sanding and the true patience it takes😅. I'm not an expert at refinishing but I have done a few pieces, I find my carbide scraper is easier with a dark stain and finish off with sander. Not so loud either
Everything looks beautiful! A question. When you were having so much trouble sending did you consider stripping? Why didn't you use a stripper? I'm not saying that is better, I just would like to know😊

Love the lampshade with the lamp. I just think you need a shorter harp. Have you ever tried Dixie bells voodoo stain Oh, naturale? Lily moon has one that has a little bit more green undertones, can’t remember the name. Anyways, I love these stains. It’s a paint wash look but more control and evenness. I put it on with a damp sponge so it’s wipe on wipe off very fast and easy. Then for my top coat, I like Udi’s oil. It’s very expensive but the tiniest amount is needed. I’m actually seeking an Asian inspired lamp for my dining room. It’s funny how we all are so unique and appreciate and actually love others design styles.
@1974angels I'll try to explain. It's basically a long strip of finished fabric(usually looks silky) that can be used on just abt anything, but it's used a lot around baby blankets(like those that are hand-made). It comes in different sizes, colors & a lot are sewn on or glued. U'll probably recognize it once u see it! U can always Google it too.(just thought abt that! lol) Hope this helps

I knew before you even said it that going zip lining was the right thing to do so that you could come back to your work with that new energy!!! I hope you had a lot of fun!!! I'm currently working on 2 concrete planters that I'm going to put at my Mom's grave!! She passed away a year ago last week and we haven't been able to get her a headstone yet so I wanted to put something o on her grave that was bigger but that I can put flowers in too!!! When I get it finished I'll send you a picture!!! As always your work this week turned out great!! The way you staged the room was beautiful as well except for the lamp, to me it looks like it's pushed too far into the corner, but that's just my opinion!!!! Thank you so much! The wax can last quite a long time, you can alway touch it up if needed, but i have not had to do so far with my furniture i have made over the years. I hope you enjoy today's new video! ❤️🎨🙏

В общем, и без этого было почти всё понятно, но до субтитров думала, что стол-бюро Вы покрывали белым маслом, а оказалось что разбавленной краской) Неприятная работа - снимать старую краску или морилку, но Вы справились! Отличный результат! Милые пудели, показывайте их почаще))❤ Одно плохо - мне на пути ни разу не попадался такой замечательный торшер!😂

I'm no expert, but I've been watching a lot of furniture refinishing videos lately and instead of sanding the finish off, you could use a scraper or a furniture stripper, especially for the smaller, hard to reach spaces. Transcend Furniture Gallery's RU-vid channel is really good if you want some references 😊

Wow! What a transformation on the desk. It was well worth your effort and perseverance to sand it completely. It looks like something from an upmarket furniture store, only with so much more character and style. Your outdoor adventures look so fun too. It looks so beautiful there.
