Happy Sunday Friends! Thank you so much for spending some time with me today and I hope you enjoyed these projects. Honestly, these hacks were some of my favorites that I have done on the channel! Don't forget to also stay tuned until the end for a giveaway (You won't want to miss this one!)
Re: The bar. May I suggest after the stain dries to spray with a clear sealer, ( comes in flat or gloss). A piece of granite counter or butcher block on the top would really take it to a new level.
Just a speed tip for those doing Drew's cabinet DIY - you could totally speed up nailing your dowels to the cabinet by laying them all on the door side-by-side and just nailing down every other dowel. That way there's no moving dowels about, you just lay it all down, nail everything all in one go, remove the not-nailed ones, and then switch to the other side. You might have to switch back to Drew's method as you run out of dowels but would just make it a little faster overall this way.
Ive been meaning like forever to thankyou for not boring the hell out of us. Not dragging out the boring and obvious details of construction is a real gift along with the brilliant lovely projects ! I love it that you get right to the point. No dragging it out. One hundred thumbs up and stars for you.
The fact that my two favorite diy-ers post in the same day close to the same time makes sundays amazing! You and Macenna make Sunday afternoons the perfect vibe!! ♥️♥️
The cabinet is stunning and the lightshade & vase are very clever. The woven hanging is cute and an interesting small scale lesson in weaving a rug. You're very talented. Thank you!
I really don't know why I watch your IKEA hacks videos because they are always so inspiring and we don't even have IKEA in New Zealand so I can't recreate them - arrgggghhhh. Great video as always though - that bar cabinet is stunning :)
I absolutely am in LOVE with the beautiful piece of furniture you made. It's beautiful. Just when I think you can't create any more or get any better~ you do! You are my favorite DIYer, ever!
That bar rocks, but I must admit that weaving loom is fantastic too - you gotta love a tool that gives you endless creative projects with just a one time purchase. Sweet!
I love the lights you're so creative and I think they came out great Also that cabinet looks like it's worth $1,000 but you made it at home for a couple hundred or less than a couple hundred so that's amazing thats on saving money
I love Drew's DIY projects so much I got excited to see the notification! Never a bad one yet. Totally the aesthetic I love! Had to bribe my kids so i could watch youtube on my laptop just now! haha
I LOVE this black cabinet. I'm in the process of changing my whole living room, furniture too. I want an Art Deco look. I have found the furniture and as soon as lockdown is lifted i will go order it but i am looking for the furniture that will go with it. This black cabinet is perfect. If i can get it the only thing i would change purely to fit the look of my room, i would put Rose Gold legs on it instead of the base you made. I have been binge watching upcycled furniture hacks, salvaged furniture etc etc but nothing really spoke to me until i found you! Lots of what you do will work perfectly for me so thank you so much for sharing with us and showing what we can achieve. Shirley from the UK. X
Drew, can you add a section to your website where we can reference the DIY‘s you do on your channel, that have a print out sheet of materials and dimensions so we can take it right to the store? That would be so helpful!! I love SAST with this IKEA cabinet!!
i have done that "dressing" with the wooden sticks 3-4 years ago, i covered my white IKEA bathroom closit, my white kitcen drawers, i small table, and an old frizer, they look amazing
Dude, you are AMAZING!!!!!!!!!! I do not know where you get these ideas, but I love them and you are so adorable and fun. I was feeling down and sad because someone whom I loved very much and who was in his 90s passed away a couple of months ago and I miss him very, very much. Your video distracted me and made focus on something else for a while. Thank you for sharing and for being you!
Me: see IKEA hacks, also me wants to do all of them. Me: I can’t I live in a rural area and no IKEA. Sigh Ranger makes those little heat guns, they sell them on Amazon.
The bar is fabulous! I love all of these hacks! So chic! And the cute foxy plant pot! I can’t get over how you never fell to impress with your absolutely fabulous hacks and designs! ✨❤️🥰✨
I love your projects, esspecially the pendant, so classy, simple, elegant. The loom fabric could be stiffened with starch spray- pretty good. The cabinet was the bomb!🖤💛
That last one is beautiful, you always do beautiful DIY, but this cabinet is way better than the one I've seen and the cost to make is 100% better. Thank you hun for these great ideas.
@@Kyleigh.24 ikr. I’m far from a Stan of JC, but I thought you’d know if you’d just seen some of his videos. But then again, he’s been hanging out with some other folks lately
I did the same thing to the front of an old dresser. I nailed the same size strips of wood to the fronts of each drawer. Then stained and it is gorgeous. The reason I did this is I didn't want to throw out a perfectly good dresser just because of damage to the front. Now I won't trade it for nothing. I love it. ❤️
Thank you so much for creating these! I get so inspired when I watch your hack vids or recreating something - so many ideas and your voice and the bgrd music are both just the right balance of calming and cheery.
I love your channel simply because YOU ARE ABSOLUTLEY 100% YOU!!!!! TRULY AINSPIRATION! THANKS FOR SHARING AMAZING TIPS AND TICKS PLUS BEAUTIFUL HOME DECOR DIYS!!!
