kyle d Thanks! I enjoy the challenge and doing the work, but there's no way I could be competitive on the market without completely changing my business focus.
Great job mate. I’m also considering making the same fenders for my Rocky atm. Just hesitating cause even if it does look amazing, if you crash on it the whole wing will be damage and potentially the body parts close to it. What ms your thoughts on that? Cheers from Belgium
This looks great!..I'm looking for some ideas of how I can make some 4 inch wide flares for my 82 wagoneer..wanting the angles to be like the old Cherokee chief..was thinking of using 3/4 electrical conduit from Home Depot.
Your tires....are those cooper stt"s and if so how are they on snow and ice.....Im runnin the stock bfg mt's until they wear out and have narrowed it down to those for my next upgrade
Yep, those are SSTs. I picked them up used with about 95% tread and they're working great. I take it pretty easy in the snow as big MTs are not the right tool for that job. I usually sipe my MTs but haven't gotten around to these yet, and I was pleasantly surprise with how well they do, for an MT.
I bought $150 in EMT and maybe $50 in sheet metal. Hard to say as it was leftover cut offs from another project. It's the time that's the killer. I've probably got a couple thousand in my labor!
+earthmover666 You'd have to reasonably intentional about blowing up a battery with a couple tack welds, but for safety's sake, that's really good advice. Thanks for pointing that out, I'll make sure I do that next time. Good catch!
