This is a beautiful piece of mixed media art!!! Every element is unique, yet they all fit perfectly together. Your daughter will love it! I make junk journals and use a lot of distress ink; once it sets, the pigment is permanent. I have never had a problem with fading or rubbing off. I think it's true about being visited by the departed. I glance at the clock and see the numbers of my birthday on the digital clocks we have, mostly in the kitchen--phone, coffee maker, microwave, etc., once or twice a week. The only other person who would find the date meaningful is my mother, who is no longer with me. Who knows? I hope your gift and the love you put into it help your daughter find peace. No, we do not mind at all videos about your own gift giving, we enjoy them and learn from them. I learned how to make crackles (tacky glue/dry/ Polycrylic protective finish/dry/highlight with wax etc).. Thanks a lot for all you show us! 🦋

Sorry I have to make a second comment. This is awesome and exactly what I'm going to do to the toolbox I just made and the other box that I was talking about in my other comment. You're a gifted artist . Most importantly you have that thing???? It's hard to explain. It separates you from other artists. Only way I can describe it, is you see things in a different light. Also you add a little extra but you don't add too much there's got to be a word for this.
