This is probably one of the best hair vids I’ve ever seen honestly, didn’t have to say a single word. I got a question tho and I’ll even drop a sub on two accounts if you answer it😂😂 how do you wash it or are you supposed to just not wash it at all? And can you sleep with it or is it a one day only kinda thing?
Thanks bro, I try to not wash it for a few weeks just so the hair is able to bind a little bit. When I do wash it, I put hair pins at the root of the locs and gently apply and rinse with shampoo. Then I'll just reapply gel to any of the locs that have came unloose. Ive been able to keep them in for months with no problems. However I do suggest wearing a drug at night.
3 question: At what point in the process did u apply the Essential oil into your hair? How long did your hair stay like that? And how did u wash it without it coming undone?
I apply the essential oil right after washing my hair to moisture my scalp and hair. My hair is a bit coarse so I could leave it in for months and they'd still stay in tact. However my scalp gets itchy if I don't wash it so I waited a few weeks before washing. Bare in mind because the locs are new you'll get a little unraveling, so I used hair clips to help retain the form when I (gently) washed my hair. Once it's semi dry, I just apply gel to the loc and twist it back to normal. P.S. I have heard of people putting on a wave cap to wash starter locs. But I have not tried it myself. Hope this helps!
Lol I'd like to know what you use on your hair to get it like 0-0.06secs lmao. I have coarse 4c hair and my hair stay looking dry and I have tried so many things!😩
Besides washing it with shampoo and conditioner. I used Eco Styling gel to lock in the twists and just some essential hair oil to keep the hair moistured.
