I painted my kitchen cabinets, walls and installed new flooring. At times I wanted to give up. Now, I am so glad my daughters and I stuck it out. I’m currently painting the kitchen table and chairs with white chalk paint. It has been a bigger job than I anticipated. 😅😍. I’ve discovered I love seeing things transformed. Thank you for your videos!!! You inspire me!!🌸💝🌸💝💜💜🌸💜🌸
Little lady you have the gift of crafting. I loved all of these. Maybe the feather/photo frame is my favorite. But will try all of them. Thank you for all your inspiration. Stay safe.
I couldn’t draw my way out of a paper bag. But your enthusiasm has made me want to start doing these for my new house. I adore you. Your diy’s are fabulous. Thank you.
That chalk board mod podge is pretty cool. I don’t decorate with any type of farmhouse crafts but I still find you charming. Your creations I feel I can still use to make things more to my style.
Don't know how I missed this one. Your creations look way better than the original ones. I may have to make the barn door. Adorable. You went over the top sweet girl. Wishing you and your family a blessed week
I love all of these, but my favorite is the first photo frame you did. I have so many pics of my grandson, but I don't have enough interesting frames. Ding, ding, ding! Thanks! Blessings all!!!!! 🌺🌺
You are my new favorite crafter with all your great dupes and inspiration pieces. I can binge watch your videos. You have a very professional sounding voice, both soothing and informative at the same time. I enjoy watching other crafters but honestly I usually mute to just watch them. Keep up the great work.
I love all your creative ideas. The frame was my favorite one this time. I just finished a rope heart which looks oceanic. I used a valentines tinsel heart from dollar tree. Took off tinsel then had a plastic heart pattern and wrapped the rope around all different directions until it was covered. Came out beautiful. I used royal blue rope with touches red and white. I have an ocean theme going on in my kitchen and this made an awesome wall accessory. Until next time. Take care
Im blessed to have an art studio set up in a room thats supposed to be a bedroom. I have shelves and cabinets all around the sides with a cute little vintage desk that sits under the window for my sewing machine. A friend who retired gave me an old wooden drafting table with iron gears. I mostly use it flat for my projects but can tilt it for paintings
For faux chalkboard I just paint the board black and then use chalk over it and smear it and it works. Always enjoy watching your videos Ms. Kaitlyn! TFS!
I follow a bunch of DIYers but you are one of the few whose picture I look for when I'm looking for a video to watch...all your stuff is so cute and aligns with my decor and taste..you are super talented and I've done a ton of your diy's!
Your crafts always amaze me...thank you for sharing...I have no more room left to hang decorations so I have to stop myself from crafting...but your ideas make me want to change my decor constantly!
GREAT JOB!!!! Yes, I've painted and repaired a Bird House, made a Car out of a Box and Painted it for my Grandson, I decorated a Chalkboard for my other Grand baby that's getting ready to turn one, and I'm NOW sanding and painting a little Decorative Bike that goes in my Garden!!!!
Really like both your projects! Didn’t know there was a product that made all surfaces into chalkboards. So, that is good to know. Hope you and your family are well and healthy!!
Katelyn, you have outdone yourself this time. I love all 3 of these projects. I especially liked the last one. I'll have to see if I can make one for my daughter since she's been working from home and will be for a while longer. Thanks for sharing your brilliant talent.
OMG !! JUST STARTED YOU WATCH YOU ! LOVE THAT YOU DO FARMHOUSE DIY !!! MY FAVORITE DECOR... I am redoing !All our Furniture throughout my house !! Out with the dark wood ! in with the white distress love love love been going hog-wild doing it and has been at first thought I was crazy but now he's loving it .. keep up the good DIYs love watching you
I’ve been doing a lot of crafts for my kids in Kids’ Church to leave on their doorsteps. They do them and them show them on the Zoom meeting the next week.
I've been redoing my wood dining table, to farmhouse style. Think it is going to be gorgeous. Not finished yet but getting close! Lol My husband want me to do another table an chairs for our camp at the river. Hopefully the second table an chairs will go faster than the first. 😁 Love your crafts today!!💞
Oh my gosh I love the barnwood chalkboard. Girl, you are incredible and have such a creative mind! How you can look at something so simple at a store and your mind sees what a beautiful craft it can be. Amazing!
I liked them all. The farm house pieces for a command center were my favorite. For the picture frame; glue white card stock to the back of the frame except for the top. That way you can interchange the photos.
I love your videos, but you lost my attention when you said you ordered a pool. I own 2 pool stores and we rely on people that don't order online. We just see so many problems when people order those pools like missing parts and no warranty. Good luck with yours.
I’ve been watching your channel for awhile, along with a few others. You are my favorite, definitely! Not only do I love your projects, but you have a soothing voice that is pleasant to listen to! I’ve also subscribed so I can be notified when you post a new video. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas!! Looking forward to seeing more from you. 💖
Wow!!! That chalkboard piece looked so much like real wood! I would love to do this! I’m not sure I have enough talent to dry brush all those colors and have it come out so realistic. You make it look so easy. But you are extremely talented and creative! I love your videos! Thanks for sharing!
Hey Katelyn! I always love your diys :) one thing I noticed that might help you when using a ruler as a straight edge, you should consider picking up a steel ruler with a cork backing to cut against. I used them all the time in architecture school and they are life savers! They don’t move around when you try to cut against them. I highly recommend!! ♥️♥️
I’ve got a Cousin who’s had to start Dialysis the last few months. They Farm, so that Farm Door Chalkboard & Key/Whatever Hanger would be a perfect “Surprise!!” Gift for her. Whenever I can get to a Dollar Tree, whoever know when that’ll be as I’m 3 hrs away from our nearest & High Risk for COVID as well, so... Whenever I’m able to though, I’m getting the things needed to make this for her. Thanks for the inspiration & hope you & your Family are all doing well during these really tough times Katelyn!! 😊❤️
Wow! I love your crafts and I can completely understand where your comming from with the tubs and forgetting what you buy and over buying. I have totes and it drives me crazy actually taking longer to look for the item then doing the craft itself. Love your channel cant wait for all your holiday crafts.
I like them all!😍 We're remodeling our bathroom...my favorite part so far is my hobby lobby shelf filled with all things dollar tree and Katelyn inspiration!
I really love that barn door chalk board so creative. My dollar tree usually doesn't carry those square wooden signs but I could just be late getting to them. You are so creative and I'm not being creepy but your voice is so soothing I was laying here in bed watching and I can't keep my eyes open 🤭
A really good product to use to get the rusted look. Once your done with the galvanized look then use cinnamon. It really works getting the rusted look.
I am in the process of redecorating my living room and will be putting up floating picture shelves (diy'd of course). I love this idea for some of my pics.....guess who will be heading into the craft room soon!!!!
You are such a breath of fresh air! I enjoy watching your videos and that you are so creative. This project was a wonderful success! I will be making this one for sure and using a picture of my greatgrandson Reed. Thanks for sharing your creativity! God Bless
I just started watching your diy craft & i loving it. I’m a beginner & plan doing a diy craft thats in a budget. I hope you put all the materials you used & where u bought it so those who wants to learn & do it our own diy, we know what to use & where to buy the materials. Thank you
I'm making crafts with paper towel and toilet paper rolls. Since they were hard to come by, I'm using all parts of them. I've made a honeycomb with the words BEE KIND. And starting to work on a medallion for my granddaughter's graduation in her school colors. Wish me luck!
I am building a studio in our metal building...truly now that my son and grandson are off work they are really the ones doing all the work...I am just being the boss. We also bought above ground pool also...and my grandkids are having a blast
