Hi Guys,
I hope you enjoyed my renter friendly kitchen update! Finding a rental during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic was a mess, but with so many hacks for affordable home
improvements out there, I see no reason why I couldn't take my not so lovely kitchen and make it into something I now love! These are very simple changes to my rental which made it so much more appealing to live in and look at!

Girl I love it! I’m doing something like this in my home that I own! It’s way cheaper an I’m trying to make it look nice on a low budget! Like low low budget lol!

It looks soooo good! Great job. Especially on the floors. I think you should def show your landlord the floors before you remove them because they look wayyyy better than the old ones. She may want to keep them for sure. Thanks for linking the matte black contact paper I am going to try that on my old washer and dryer when I do my laundry room makeover.

I went through the same exact thing. It was so overwhelming and frustrating. Especially when you have children trying to find a decent and stable place to live during that time was so stressful. And luckily I came across someone with a decent heart and allowed me and children to rent his apartment, it’s outdated, but it’s in a good and quiet neighborhood with a great school district. All I can say is that I’m grateful!!! 😊

I like and plan todo the same to my cabinets. I have the idea to add pulls with command strips or double sided tape since it would be added on the contact paper.

Amazingly beautifully done! Love it! I have an outdated kitchen as well similar to your cabinets. Your before and after inspires anyone to do an upgrade! Unfortunately no upgrades allowed in our apartments for the cabinets or the flooring but going to attempt the backlash in my kitchen! I did my backsplash ( just bksplash) and LOVE IT. Since i wasnt able to do anything major I chose one w a POP .. Blk n white Boho tile looking paper and it made a HUGE difference. Still going strong a year later. Made such a difference. Good luck

FYI With the back splash you can use a blow dryer to smooth out the messed up parts. (I’ve done it myself it works great)
