Hi everyone, this large macrame tutorial is pretty easy to create. It can add so much definition to your home and garden decor. Hope you all find it easy to follow. If you like this video, please do hit the like button, share and subscribe.

MATERIALS & MEASUREMENT:
Wooden Branch: 90cm
Total Cord used: 380m or 416yd
Cut & prepare: 6 Cords: 200cm each
10 Cords: 420cm each
1 Cord: 50cm
14 Cords: 500cm each
56 Cords: 142cm each (1st Layer of fringe)
54 Cords: 140cm each (2nd Layer of fringe)
80 Cords: 120cm each (3rd Layer of fringe)
*Note: You can increase or or decrease the length of the fringe depending on the how long you want it to be. Also, you can add more number of fringes in each gap for thicker fringe texture.

My cord is 4mm and I believe you used 3mm. Do you know how much bigger the piece might be with 4 mm? This is beautiful, thank you.

I can’t find a way to message you. 🤦🏼‍♀️ it’s probably me not looking in the right place. I’m working on this beautiful macrame hanging in your video but I must be doing something wrong. After I add the fringe and start the next row of knots everything eventually starts to get a wave to it. Any tips you can give me? I’d greatly appreciate it. Thank you

1st layer of fringe says 142 cm , is that each? But it doesn’t say how many of those? And the next step, for the 10 cords, is each one 420cm long? Thank you if you could please clarify?

Hi Jan, you are absolutely right. The measurement are for each cords. There are 13 cords in each section of the first layer. I will be more precise in upcoming videos. Thank you for watching

M I think I counted 2 on the top and 3 on all other sections for the second layer. I’m not for sure but I was just trying to count and figure it out myself! Hope this helps

What kind of string did you use? Where do you recommend purchasing it at?

It's a 3mm/twisted cord. Any macrame/fibre supplier shops should have them.

I would really like to make this, however the lettering in the video is too light and blurry, I cannot read it. I see you used 4mm cord, I think the stick is approximately 36" long. How many cords did you cut, what lengths and when/where to add them? Thank you

Hi, you might want to change the quality of video in HD so you can have clear views for the subtitles. I have done the measurements in centimetres, the stick is 90cm which is the total width of the macrame. The video caption should tell you the exact measurement for every step, thank you

Hi Adi, it is almost half the size of what you see in the tutorial. I can only suggest you might need about 220m to 250m of total cords and also don't cut the fringe cords beforehand. You can save the cords for later and add them later so you know exactly how longer you need them.

Deepa Rai Ok, the idea was to use less thread because I do not have enough, there is an option to divide everything in half in lengths? If registered 200 cm, do 100? Or will it not work?

It might not work that way. I would suggest, for the first step with 6 Cords keep it about 160cm long. It will be your guideline on how wider you want your second layer to be (around 300cm) I would also recommend to use a bit longer than you estimate so that you don't run out in midway of your work. You can use the extra cut out cords for your fringe part. Hope this helps 🙂

Very good video. However I think it would be better without the music. It s a nice music but when you hear it again and again ( for people that are trying to do the macrame also) it drives you crazy 🤪 the simple natural sound of the ropes moving would be very relaxing 😍😍
