I love how in the USA homes have a spot to do laundry with a nice large sized Washer and Dryer. Most older homes in Northern Europe, well we just don't have this luxury, so you'll mostly find the washing machine in the kitchen. Most people do not have a dryer as they are too expensive to run, so the clothes line during the better weather months does the trick and radiators and clothes horses during the wintery months. My goodness what a gorgeous Laundry/Sun room.... again another beautiful, elegant job has been completed.
My laundry (washing machine) is in the cupboard in the kitchen. Shared with the brooms, mops, cleaning materials, loo paper storage, recycling bin, clothes horses (2), car cleaning stuff, and spare laundry basket used as storage suspended over the tub. I do have a dryer for emergencies which is in a cupboard downstairs in the carport. But as you say, it's too expensive to use routinely. Besides, the washing smells better when dried outside on the clothesline in the sun if any.
My laundry room looks similar on a much smaller scale. A repairman was out our house one day and he came out to where I was and said, “Ma’am, I have never seen such a cute laundry room and I have seen a lot of laundry rooms.” Haha! I didn’t know what he was going to tell me, but that is not at all what I was expecting! 😂 Great job! A sink…no, a sink and a whole countertop is a DREAM! 😍

We live in a small house no laundry room; our small stackable washer and dryer are in a closet along with coats. But the cabinet in the middle of the machines gave me a good idea. I can fit a narrow cabinet to store laundry and cleaning products. I love watching your channel and always look forward to your projects.
Andrea you did a great job. Love the colors and material combinations. Good room design. fyi: Get a Lowe's bucket and label it just for plumbing supplies. Everything will be contained. Use at home or take it to a jobsite. Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year. Good video.

I love my front loader... would never change for top loaders or anything thing in between. My clothes come out smelling great and the wash is perfect..

It looks beautiful all expect the freezer in in front on a closet/linen closet.. I would modify the closet to fit the freezer with upper shelving .. remove the door and retrofit the freezer with shelving on top .. make it look like a built in..

I absolutely love the finished look! An actual laundry room one can sit in and do laundry with a view. The use of the space with a nice size deep freezer!! Never thought this is one place in a house you can actually be in like one of the rooms.
Never thought about changing a picture mat color with spray paint before. Great idea. I'm impressed with the laundry sink setup. I can do almost anything with wood, but my world falls apart when I attempt plumbing. The room looks really elegant. Cheers!
Top loading washing machines are seen as very old fashioned here in Europe. To keep a front loader from smelling if you are not using it on a regular basis (eg 1x a week) then don’t close the door and leave the detergent tray slightly open.

Another great job! Kudos. Is the little door by the freezer an area that you don’t need easy access? I forgot if you covered that in one of the other vids. The room looks awesome and gives your home added space to increase value. Funny that you “mention” if you put it on the market… I did wonder that myself.

I love the cabinet color and the laundry room as a whole! Do you have any recommendations on wall color to go with those cabinets that aren't white or alabaster? Maybe something a shade lighter or darker.

Your laundry room is beautiful, just like all your other rooms. I too don't care for Front Loaders. They do sink and I can't say that they clean better than a Top Load Washer. GREAT JOB!!! HAVE BLESSED 2024🙏🙏🙏🙏
Ok, I have loved seeing the redo of every room in your house, but this may actually be my favorite (although the play room was amazing)!! I don’t know why, but I just LOVE it!! I get you might want to list it now, but please ask what the kiddos think and try (if you can) to include them in that decision since will absolutely affect them, schools, neighborhood friends, etc. Silly for me to even say that as I am nothing more than an obscure viewer I know, but my thing is, y’all all seem so happy there, and if it ain’t broke….
Oh, and I loved loved loved the garage and the ensuing, long-awaited mobile work bench! And the upstairs bathroom (where you threw stuff out the window). Ok, I give up-I love ALL your vids!
